BEVERAGE-PREPARATION APPARATUS FOR A VEHICLE AND METHOD FOR OPERATING THE SAME
Mobile beverage-preparation apparatus for preparing beverages, in particular hot and/or cold ones, using at least one beverage extract (beverage preparation) and for dispensing the prepared beverage (beverage dispensing) in a vehicle. The beverage-preparation apparatus has a mobile housing, which is configured for accommodating at least one extract container in an interchangeable manner. The at least one extract container is configured for accommodating the beverage extract and has at least one container information item. The container information item is representative of an identifier of the extract container, of the volume of the extract container (container volume) or of the type of beverage extract. The extract container may have a number of these container information items at the same time. Furthermore, the beverage-preparation apparatus has a communications device, which is configured for communicating one or more of the container information items, in particular to a higher-level communications device in particular of the vehicle.
BEVERAGE DISPENSING SYSTEM
A liquid dispensing system is disclosed. The liquid system includes a housing, a vessel fluidly connected to the housing and containing a liquid, a preservation subsystem positioned within the housing and in fluid communication with the vessel and a liquid outlet operably connected to the housing and in fluid communication with the vessel. In operation, the preservation subsystem reduces oxidization of the fluid within the vessel, while allowing the fluid to be dispensed through the liquid outlet.

The measurement system includes a system tracking measurement unit, a system tracking processing unit, and a user interface device for receiving data corresponding to one or more system conditions over an electronic communications channel, the user interface device including a display. The system tracking measurement unit calculates temporal flow data when the orientation of one or more objects corresponds to an event trigger value and transmits the data to the system tracking processing unit. The system tracking processing unit determines one or more tracking parameters based on the temporal flow data. In addition, the system tracking processing unit determines one or more system conditions based on the one or more tracking parameters. The system tracking processing unit transmits data corresponding to the system conditions for display on a user interface device.

Product dispensing system
A system for monitoring flow conditions of fluid flowing from a product container through a solenoid pump. The system includes at least one solenoid pump comprising a solenoid coil, which, when energized, produces a stroke of the solenoid pump, at least one product container connected to the at least one solenoid pump wherein the at least one solenoid pump pumps fluid from the at least one product container during each stroke, at least one PWM controller configured to energize the at least one solenoid pump, at least one current sensor for sensing the current flow through the solenoid coil and producing an output of the sensed current flow, and a control logic subsystem for controlling the flow of fluids through the solenoid pump by commanding the PWM controller and for monitoring the current through the solenoid pump by receiving the output from the current sensor, wherein the control logic subsystem uses the measured current flow through the solenoid coil to determine whether the stroke of the solenoid pump is functional.

Disclosed are various embodiments for dispensing and tracking beverages. An identifier associated with a user can be read by an identification device. Beverage availability information for the user can be determined. The beverage availability information can specify categories of beverages that the user is authorized to dispense. Valves can be selected that correspond to the authorized beverage categories. The valves can be enabled to allow the user to dispense beverages from the authorized beverage categories. The quantity of beverages dispensed can be tracked.
