Annular Filter Element, in Particular for Gas Filtration
An annular filter element has a filter medium body configured to be flowed through by a fluid to be purified in a radial direction. A sealing element is arranged at the end face of the filter medium body and extends circumferentially around the end face. The sealing element has at least one first sealing section comprising a massive and large cross-sectional area and one or more second sealing sections with a cross-sectional area that is at least partially reduced in comparison to the large cross-sectional area. The one or more second sealing sections include a second sealing section with a groove-type recess, wherein the groove-type recess extends at least approximately across a length of the second sealing section with the groove-type recess or across a portion of said length.
SPRAYER INLET FILTER AND METHOD
An inlet filter is usable on a sprayer, such as a gravity-feed paint sprayer. The inlet filter can include a lip for placement on the top of the sprayer's hopper and a mesh screen for filtering a spray liquid medium, such as paint, as it is poured directly from its container into the hopper. The inlet filter removes the need for a paper filter, filter stand and transfer cup as is conventionally used in paint filtering operations.

An inlet filter is usable on a sprayer, such as a gravity-feed paint sprayer. The inlet filter can include a lip for placement on the top of the sprayer's hopper and a mesh screen for filtering a spray liquid medium, such as paint, as it is poured directly from its container into the hopper. The inlet filter removes the need for a paper filter, filter stand and transfer cup as is conventionally used in paint filtering operations.
METHOD AND APPARATUSES FOR SCREENING
Methods and apparatuses for screening are provided. Embodiments include a screen basket apparatus for screening material, comprising a grid frame having a plurality of openings arranged in a lattice and a plurality of screening cartridge assemblies affixed to the grid frame to cover the respective openings of the grid frame. The screening cartridge assembly includes a case and a screen assembly fitted into the case, and may be affixed to a set of transversal member of the grid frame. The case may be an injection molded thermoplastic polyurethane or a thermoset polymer. The screening elements together form a generally continuous screening surface across an exterior portion of the grid frame.
Spring Biased Filter Element
A filter element for use in a housing of a filter assembly having a cover and a seal therebetween. The housing includes inlet and outlet valves. The filter element comprises a first endcap and a second endcap including an inlet valve actuator. A cylindrical ring of filter media extends axially between the first and second endcaps and surrounds a center tube that defines an outlet having an outlet valve actuator. A sleeve positioned to receive and exert force in a first and second direction surrounds a bias member. Threading the cover to the housing compresses the bias member causing the inlet and outlet valve actuators to actuate the inlet and outlet valves. Removing the cover causes extension of the bias member and the inlet and outlet valve actuators to retreat from the inlet and outlet valves before the seal between the cover and the housing is broken.
THERMOPLASTIC COMPOSITIONS, METHODS, APPARATUS, AND USES
Thermoplastic polyurethane (TPU) compositions, methods for producing TPU compositions, methods of using TPU compositions, and apparatuses produced therefrom are disclosed. Disclosed TPU compositions include a thermoplastic polyurethane polymer, a heat stabilizer, a flow agent, and a filler material. The filler may be a glass fiber. Disclosed TPU compositions have improved thermal stability and improved flow properties suitable for injection molding of articles of manufacture having a large plurality of fine openings or pores. Articles produced from the composition have superior thermal stability, abrasion resistance, and chemical resistance. Example articles include screening members for vibratory screening machines.
HIGH-PRESSURE LIQUID FILTER WITH SUPPORT STEM AND APPLICATION OF THIS FILTER IN FUEL SYSTEM
This description presents liquid filter comprising filter housing containing all parts of the filter; filtering element trapping impurities present in liquid being filtered; solid support element preventing filtering element from getting deformed, filter housing cover, and other components.
The most important element presented in this description is filter support stem enabling the use of filter with extreme pressure levels of the filtered liquid (up to 300 MPa) and sudden changes to these levels. The support stem prevents filtering element from getting deformed to the extent that would render it unfunctional.
One of the possible applications of the filter presented herein is filtering high-pressure diesel fuel between high-pressure pump and injectors.
An important feature of this liquid filter is that it is not integrated into other standard parts of fuel system, but added to fuel system as separate component that can be easily replaced without replacing other parts of the system.
To improve durability and ensure reusability of filtering element of liquid filter this element is made of metal or other material possessing similar properties.

A support structure supports the filter media and is operably oriented in the interior volume. The support structure extends from the first opposing interior face to the second opposing interior face. The support structure is provided to extend less than a full extension between the first end cap and second end cap.
