FILTRATION MEDIA PRODUCED USING ADDITIVE MANUFACTURING
A method for manufacturing a filter includes providing a computer-readable three-dimensional model of the filter, the three-dimensional model being configured to be converted into a plurality of slices that each define a cross-sectional layer of the filter, and successively forming each layer of the filter by additive manufacturing.
Filter element
A filter element (1), with a preferably multilayer structure of a filter medium (3), in pleated form has filter pleats (5, 7) of different pleat heights (h1, h2). The filter pleats (7) with a first pleat height (h1) oppose the filter pleats (5) lower second pleat height (h2). The filter element has a throughflow direction for fluid to be cleaned away from a dirty side to a clean side (R). The transitions arranged adjacent to the inner side all conclude along a fictitious circular cylinder (9), which penetrates the filter medium (3) coaxially to its longitudinal axis (LA).
FILTER ELEMENT, FILTER, FILTER DEVICE, AND METHOD OF USE
A porous filter element comprises hollow cylindrical porous metal medium having a first end and a second end, the hollow cylindrical porous metal medium comprising a plurality of pleats longitudinally arranged along an axis from the first end to the second end, each pleat comprising a plurality of portions each having a height to width aspect ratio of about 1:≥1 is disclosed, along with a method of filtration using the filter element.
CORRUGATED FLUID INTAKE SCREEN
Corrugated screen filters and related method of fabrication whereby an available filter surface is increased so as to allow an increase a flow capacity of the corrugated screen filter. The corrugated screen filter can comprise a plurality of rods forming a series of alternate and angular ridges and grooves on a surface of the filter screen. The filter screen can be configured to have longitudinal corrugations only on an exterior surface of the filter screen or alternatively, the filter screen can be configured to have longitudinal corrugations only on an interior surface of the filter screen. The alternate angular ridges and grooves can form corrugations in a variety of configurations including, but not limited to, a sinusoidal wave structure, a triangular wave structure, a rectangular wave structure, a trapezoidal wave structure, or the like.
FILTRATION MEDIA PACKS PRODUCED USING ADDITIVE MANUFACTURING
A method for manufacturing a filter medium includes providing a computer-readable three-dimensional model of the filter medium including a plurality of segments, each segment of the three-dimensional model being configured to be converted into a plurality of slices that each define a cross-sectional layer of the filter medium, each segment including an undulating layer extending along a predetermined direction that is different than the predetermined direction of the undulating layer of the other segment; and successively forming each layer of the filter medium by additive manufacturing.
FILTER CORE WATER FLOW CHANNEL
Disclosed is a filter core water flow channel, comprising a filter core housing (1), the filter core housing (1) respectively comprising an upper area (1) and a lower area (12) in mutual communication according to high to low positions, the upper area (11) being provided with a front filter core (2), the lower area (12) being provided with a kernel filter core (3), the filter core housing (1) further being provided with a water inlet (5) and a water outlet (6), the water inlet (5) being in communication with the upper area (11) via the lower area (12) around the kernel filter core (3), water passing through the water inlet (5) and the lower area (12) surrounding the kernel filter core (3) and entering the upper area (11), and after filtering by the front filter core (2), water then flowing into the kernel filter core (3), and finally flowing out via the water outlet (6).
FILTER ARRANGEMENTS FOR LIQUIDS AND METHODS OF USE
A filter cartridge has media construction, a housing, and a first end construction. The first end constructions includes an outer radial wall with circumferentially spaced connecting sections; each connecting section having a plurality of helical profiles extending at a helix angle. The filter cartridge is removably attached to a filter head, which has mating connecting segments. A bowl cartridge assembly is also provided including connecting sections with a plurality of helical profiles.
FILTER COVER PROTECTION AGAINST EXTERNAL CONTAMINATION
A fluid filter arrangement, with protection against external contamination, the filter arrangement comprising: a fluid circulating system; a filter cartridge having an exterior surface; a housing having an internal fluid chamber surrounding the exterior surface of the filter cartridge, an open end through which the filter cartridge can pass along a housing axis; and a cover sealed over the open end of the housing in a closed position, the cover in an open position exposing the open end of the housing, the cover including a fluid passage in communication with the internal fluid chamber in the closed position, the cover fluid passage being in communication with the fluid circulating system in the closed position and in the open position.
RETROFITTING AND USE OF RECTANGULAR FILTERS, ASSEMBLY AND METHOD FOR FILTRATION
An adaptor device for retrofitting in a pool filter housing is disclosed, where the pool filter housing has a conventional cylindrical concentric filter. The adaptor device allows the pool filter to be retrofitted with a plurality of filter elements, thereby improving its filtering efficiency.
