Accessory for sanitation facilities, in particular intended for the treatment of a flow of discharge water coming from a sink or similar, comprising a housing which has an inlet region and an outlet region for the water flow couplable to the pipe which exits from the lower part of the sink, a filtering element having been provided in the interior of the housing to allow the passage of the flow and to retain small particles and an endless axis actuatable by way of the rotary actuation means, also having a storage container which is coupled and in communication with the interior of the housing, the storage container being located with respect to the endless axis. In this way, when the endless axis is actuated, the particles or residues accumulated in the filtering element are displaced towards the interior of the storage container.
Device for Separating Solid Carbon Dioxide from a Suspension
An apparatus for separating solid CO2 suspended or entrained in a liquid is disclosed. The apparatus comprises a housing with an interior and an exterior, a filter located within the interior of the housing, a compactor contained within the interior of the housing that compacts the solid CO2 against the filter to form compacted solid CO2, and a sealed system cooling device in thermal contact with the liquid, the solid CO2, the compacted solid CO2 , or the filter within the housing. The sealed system cooling device may receive temperature feedback and be controlled by a temperature of the liquid. The sealed system cooling device may be partially controlled by a pressure within the interior of the housing. The sealed system cooling device may be partially controlled by a pressure of the compacted solid CO2 and a current consumed by a motor of the compactor.
Filtering Coil for Screw Press
Devices, systems, and methods for concentrating a slurry are disclosed. A concentrator is utilized, including a cylindrical vessel containing a cylindrical filter and a screw. The cylindrical filter consists of a flat coil compression spring. The screw passes through the cylindrical filter. A slurry passed through the cylindrical vessel is concentrated. The slurry is conveyed by the screw along an interior of the cylindrical filter. Any two concentric coils of the spring are spaced such that the solid is prevented from passing between them. The slurry is concentrated to produce a concentrated slurry by restricting the product outlet such that a back pressure is created in the cylindrical vessel. The back pressure causes a portion of the liquid to pass between the concentric coils of the spring and out a fluid outlet. The concentrated slurry passes out a product outlet.
Filtering Annuli for Screw Press
Devices, systems, and methods for concentrating a slurry are disclosed. A concentrator is utilized, including a cylindrical vessel containing a cylindrical filter and a screw. The cylindrical filter consists of a plurality of spaced annuli. The screw passes through the cylindrical filter. A slurry passed through the cylindrical vessel is concentrated. The slurry is conveyed by the screw along an interior of the cylindrical filter. Any two concentric annuli are spaced such that the solid is prevented from passing between them. The slurry is concentrated to produce a concentrated slurry by restricting the product outlet such that a back pressure is created in the cylindrical vessel. The back pressure causes a portion of the liquid to pass between the annuli and out a fluid outlet. The concentrated slurry passes out a product outlet.
DEVICE AND METHOD FOR SEPARATING THE SOLID FRACTION FROM THE LIQUID FRACTION OF A SLURRY
A device for separating the liquid phase from the solid phase of a slurry, wherein such separation is obtained by a filtration process, preferably under pressure, in combination with a process of clarification and withdrawal of the clarified liquid within the filter at an adjustable height.
DESIGN IMPROVEMENTS FOR MECHANICAL SEPARATION DEVICES
Screen designs and screens for a mechanical separation device are disclosed for separating solids from liquids in a process stream. A screen may have a plurality of openings, which are conical shaped, having a diameter of about 1.0 mm to about 1.4 mm in size that are formed on a stainless steel sheet.
DEVICE FOR TREATING A SLURRY BY SEPARATING SOLIDS FROM LIQUIDS
A device includes a compartment for separating the solids and liquids. The compartment includes a base that is concavely curved according to a cylindrical portion having a transverse axis and is formed of a sieve, an idler roller mounted transversely on an arm, a drive which actuates the arm, and resilient means for adjusting the pressure exerted by the rollers. Both the contact interface between the sieve and the roller and the rotational interface between the roller and the arm are made of a non-metal material on at least one of the two contacting surfaces that form each of the interfaces, such that, there is no metal-on-metal contact between surfaces moving relative to one another at the interfaces.
FILTER ASSEMBLY FOR A DISHWASHER APPLIANCE
A filter assembly includes a first filter member including a first filter panel which defines a central axial aperture and a second filter member including a second filter panel which defines a central axial aperture. The filter assembly further includes a first discharge blade which includes a body and a blade arm, the body defining a central axial bore hole and in contact with the first outer surface of the first filter panel. The filter assembly further includes a second discharge blade which includes a body and a blade arm extending radially from the body, the body defining a central axial bore hole and in contact with the second opposing outer surface of the first filter panel and the first outer surface of the second filter panel. The filter assembly further includes a washer in contact with the second outer surface of the second filter panel, and a shaft.
Mechanical separation device
A rotary tool for a mechanical separator, the tool can optionally comprise: a center shaft having a longitudinal axis; a plurality of longitudinal paddles coupled to the shaft, at least one paddle of the plurality of paddles having an inner edge and aligned radially relative to the longitudinal axis, wherein the at least one paddle has an elongate extent along the longitudinal axis with opposing lateral sides along the elongate extent; and a flange having a triangular shape in a radial cross-section, the flange affixed to the inner edge of the at least one paddle and having an apex radially inward of the at least one paddle. Other examples of the application include the rotary tool having a plurality of tools and the mechanical separator having the capability of being raised or lowered to alter a residence time of slurry within the mechanical separator.

A device is provided that provides an unbiased filtration effect and an effect of removing captured substances through backwashing by causing a fluid to uniformly pass through a filter element over the entire length in an axial direction at the time of backwashing so as to efficiently rotate a captured-substance removal tool in a filtration unit 1 which includes the captured-substance removal tool 20 axially supported inside the tubular filter element 2 to be rotatable.
