SCREENING DEVICE
A screening device for separating out and removing contaminants from wastewater includes two continuous conveyors, which are mounted with clearance from each other. Each has a drive wheel that is guided on a circular path and includes a fixedly situated bar screen, which includes multiple mutually spaced grating bars for removing contaminants from the wastewater. Each bar screen includes multiple clearing elements, which are connected to the conveyor for removing from the bar screen the contaminants that have been separated out by the bar screen. The bar screen forms a fixed screen surface that extends, in the intended installation position of the screening device, essentially in the flow direction of the wastewater reaching the screening device.
FILTER ASSEMBLY AND WIPER THEREFOR AND METHOD OF MAKING SAME
A filter assembly is provided for filtering pressurized fluid having a pressure vessel with an inlet, outlet and annular filter media for filtering fluid flow from inlet to outlet. An integrally molded one piece member wiper piston having an integral one piece hub, spoke-like radial springs and arcuate wiper segments attached to each spring is slidably disposed in the annular filter and is connected to an operating rod. A servo actuator effects movement of the rod and wiper for cleaning contaminants from the upstream side of the filter media. The one piece wiper member is readily and easily removed from the operating rod for replacement.
Trash rake system with articulated rake head assembly
A trash rake system with an articulated rake head assembly is provided. The trash rake system includes a main unit, a telescoping boom attached to the main unit, and a rake head assembly attached to an end of the telescoping boom. The rake head assembly includes a base frame, a drive arrangement mounted to the base frame, and a rake head mounted to the drive arrangement. The drive arrangement includes at least one gear arranged to mesh with a rack gear mounted to a rack which is in turn mounted between a fixed member and a movable member of the telescoping boom.
SLUDGE DEHYDRATOR
The sludge dehydrator equipment is a machine that permits to remove low turbidity water from sludge or watery pastes of industrial or mining origin, with the following objectives: To optimize ore recovery processes such as flotation by means of an increase of the sludge density; To thicken sludge or watery pastes for optimizing the filtering and drying processes, as well as to dispose of mining tailings; To concentrate and dispose of solids in suspension and to recover and recycle clean or clarified water.
The sludge dehydrator equipment has been designed on the basis of a rectangular tank provided with the necessary infrastructure for containing inside a series of suction plates being connected to a vacuum system, through which the process of solid-liquid separation is carried out and, on the other hand, to contain the cleaning mechanism-the cleaning car-with its motor system made up by pneumatic or hydraulic components required to clean suction plates the filtering medium and to keep them permanently operative.
In accordance with the sludge dehydrator feeding and the design of the lower or bottom cone of the rectangular tank will benefit to be derived from the industrial and mining operation.
Thin plate apparatus for removing debris from water
A product that is an apparatus for removing debris from water containing such debris using a perforated plate, a backer plate, and a skimmer, positioned adjacent the back of the perforated plate to provide a means of removing debris from the perforated plate without scraping the debris from the perforated plate, the skimmer bar and the backer plate being synchronized in their movement.
Method and Device for Separating Solids and Liquids using a Modified Pump
A device and a method for thickening a slurry are disclosed. A pump is provided comprising an inner chamber, a pumping apparatus, an external wall, an inlet, and an outlet. The slurry comprises a solid and a liquid. The slurry enters the inner chamber through the inlet and is pumped and pressurized by the pumping apparatus through the inner chamber across a portion of the external wall comprising a porous wall, causing a portion of the liquid to be pressed through the porous wall as a liquid product stream and thickening the slurry into a thickened slurry stream. The thickened slurry stream leaves through the slurry outlet.
CHIP CONVEYOR AND MACHINE TOOL
A chip conveyor includes: a cover body; a guide plate configured to guide chips, which are conveyed inside the cover body, so as to be directed from a chip receiving position toward a chip discharging position; a case attached to the cover body and having an internal space provided therein; and a float switch configured to detect, based on a coolant flowing from inside the cover body into the internal space, that a liquid level of the coolant inside the cover body is equal to or greater than a prescribed liquid level. The cover body includes a first space and a second space that are partitioned from each other by the guide plate. The cover body is provided with: a first opening allowing communication between the first space and the internal space; and a second opening allowing communication between the second space and the internal space.
Wastewater treatment system outlet filter cleaner
The present development is a septic tank or wastewater treatment tank outlet filter cleaning device. More specifically, the device is an outlet filter cleaner for a slotted filter used to reduce solid waste transfer into a septic tank effluent. The device comprises a central shaft with at least one cleaning disc, wherein the cleaning disc comprises a body which is mounted on the shaft and wherein a plurality of fingers protrude from the body, preferably in locations substantially identical to the positions of the openings in the wall of the tube.
Filtration device and filter element
A filtration device including: a casing; a first partition wall which partitions the inside of the casing into a first raw fluid chamber and a filtered-fluid chamber; cylindrical filter elements provided inside the filtered-fluid chamber and of which the inside communicates with the first raw fluid chamber to let fluid pass through from inside toward outside to filter the fluid; a second partition wall provided on the other end of the filter elements to form a second raw fluid chamber; a wash pipe connected to an end of the filter element to let fluid flow from the raw fluid chamber in the axial direction to wash the filter elements; and a wash fluid drain pipe which discharges trapped substances, wherein the other end of the filter element connected to the wash pipe is always open to the raw fluid chamber.
Device for Separating Solid Carbon Dioxide from a Suspension
An apparatus for separating solid CO2 suspended or entrained in a liquid is disclosed. The apparatus comprises a housing with an interior and an exterior, a filter located within the interior of the housing, a compactor contained within the interior of the housing that compacts the solid CO2 against the filter to form compacted solid CO2, and a sealed system cooling device in thermal contact with the liquid, the solid CO2, the compacted solid CO2 , or the filter within the housing. The sealed system cooling device may receive temperature feedback and be controlled by a temperature of the liquid. The sealed system cooling device may be partially controlled by a pressure within the interior of the housing. The sealed system cooling device may be partially controlled by a pressure of the compacted solid CO2 and a current consumed by a motor of the compactor.
