Twin screw extruder press for solid/fluid separation
Disclosed is a solid/liquid separation apparatus including an extruder press combined with a solid/fluid separation module for separating fluid from a mass of solids compressed by the extruder at elevated pressures. The extruder includes two or more extruder screws with flighting intercalated at least along a part of the extruder barrel. The separation module forms a continuation of the barrel, receives the pressurized mass and at least a portion of the twin screws, and includes a filter pack consisting of a filter plate and a backer plate. The filter plate has a throughgoing filter slot extending away from a core opening and into the filter plate for directing fluid away from the core opening. The backer plate has a core opening shaped and sized equal to the barrel and defines a passage for guiding fluid collected in the filter slot to an exterior of the filter pack.
Reciprocating lamination spiral solid-liquid separator
A reciprocating lamination spiral solid-liquid separator is provided, including: a support frame, a filter chamber, a spiral shaft and a driving device. The filter chamber is assembled with the support frame. The spiral shaft is mounted on the support frame and passes through the filter chamber. The driving device is mounted on the support frame. Two ends of the filter chamber respectively have a feed port and a discharge channel. The filter chamber includes a first closed movable ring-piece assembly and a second closed ring-piece assembly having a motion state that is inconsistent with that of the first closed movable ring-piece assembly. The first and second closed ring-piece assemblies are stacked alternately to form the filter chamber, and a gasket is disposed between two adjacent closed ring-pieces of one of the closed ring-piece assemblies.
Wastewater heat exchange system
An apparatus for wastewater filtration having a barrel, a basket and a screw on a shaft rotating therein for pushing solid in a distinct output. A removable cartridge comprises a cover for the barrel, the cartridge comprising a pre-sealed shaft connector which releasably connects to at least the upper shaft portion or the lower shaft portion to form the shaft. The screw comprises a brush on an outer rim thereof, the brush having radially outwardly oriented bristles that scrape an inner surface of the basket. The screw comprises a winged wiper at a bottom thereof for sweeping a bottom surface of the barrel, and the solid-material output is provided at the bottom surface of the barrel and is shaped as a rectangular opening which is offset from a central axis of the screw. Solid removal efficiency and maintenance are thereby improved.
