Methods and apparatuses for screening are provided. Embodiments include a screen basket apparatus for screening material, comprising a grid frame having a plurality of openings arranged in a lattice and a plurality of screening cartridge assemblies affixed to the grid frame to cover the respective openings of the grid frame. The screening cartridge assembly includes a case and a screen assembly fitted into the case, and may be affixed to a set of transversal member of the grid frame. The case may be formed of a single injection molded piece integrally formed by injection molding one of a polyurethane or a thermoset polymer. The screening elements together form a generally continuous screening surface across the exterior of the grid frame, which reduces blinding and is resistant to wear and tear.

Methods and apparatuses for screening are provided. Embodiments of the present disclosure include a screen basket apparatus includes a substantially vertical cylindrical frame and a synthetic screening surface secured to the frame. The synthetic screening surface may be configured to separate carbon or resin from a slurry of a carbon-in-leach, carbon-in-pulp, resin-in-leach, or resin-in-pulp material as fluid flows from outside to inside the screen basket apparatus such that carbon or resin is retained on an external surface of the synthetic screening surface. The cylindrical frame may be a grid frame and the synthetic screening surface may include a plurality of replaceable screen assemblies attached to the grid frame. The grid frame may include a plurality of openings and each of the plurality of openings is configured to receive a respective one of the plurality of replaceable screen assemblies. The synthetic screening surface may include injected molded thermoplastics, thermoset polyurethanes, and/or other polymeric materials.

Disclosed are a slurry filtering apparatus and a separator manufacturing system including the same. A slurry filtering apparatus according to one aspect of the present disclosure may include: an accommodation structure having an accommodation space therein, and a first inlet and a first outlet leading to the accommodation space; a filter accommodated in the accommodation space and configured to filter slurry flowing in through the first inlet and discharge the filtered slurry to the first outlet; and an ultrasonic module having at least a portion that is disposed in an internal space of the filter and configured to generate ultrasonic vibration inside the filter.
