EROSION AND SEDIMENT CONTROL ABOVE GRATE BASED INLET FILTER SYSTEM INCLUDING HIGH TRAFFIC EMBODIMENTS
An above grate based inlet filter system for erosion and sediment control comprises a filter mat configured to extend beyond the perimeter of the grate and a securing mechanism, such as magnets, configured to securing the filter mat around the perimeter of the grate. The system may include a filter berm secured in vicinity to the mat, and a rectangular array of magnets coupling the filter mat to the grate. The natural fiber filter mat may effectively be formed of vertically aligned coir fibers or alternatively of reticulated foam. Multiple side edges of the mat are undulating having a pattern of repeating recesses. The mat includes a plurality of high flow holes extending into the mat and which are closed at a bottom surface thereof. The mat includes at least one removable dewatering plug configured to allow for selective mat bypass
Filter medium and breather filter structure
Thermoplastic bicomponent binder fiber can be combined with other media, fibers and other filtration components to form a thermally bonded filtration media. The filtration media can be used in filter units, such as breather caps. Such filter units can be placed in the stream of a mobile fluid and can remove a particulate and/or fluid mist load from the mobile stream. The unique combination of media fiber, bicomponent binder fiber and other filtration additives and components provide a filtration media having unique properties in filtration applications.
Edo cup 2.0
The Edo Cup 2.0 is an open, suspended, accordion type paper single cup finable completely biodegradable and recycle-able beverage disposable filter. The filter can be in several shapes and sizes and may display corporate logs, up to an including religious symbols, sayings and holiday messages. The filter may enclose flavors (in the filter paper) or be pre-soaked in flavors prior to packaging for sale.
SOY BASED FILTRATION SYSTEM
The present application relates generally to filter media useful for manufacturing air filters for residential and commercial office's Heating, Ventilation, and Air Conditioning (HVAC), particularly to filters and filter media comprising soybean-based materials. The present invention provides an inexpensive, effective, environmentally friendly, and sustainable media for manufacturing HVAC air filters for residential and commercial buildings.
HYDROGEN SULFIDE FILTERS, METHODS OF FORMING THE HYDROGEN SULFIDE FILTERS, AND SYSTEMS INCLUDING SUCH FILTERS
A method of forming a hydrogen sulfide filter and a hydrogen sulfide filter. In some embodiments, the method comprises mixing copper hydroxide particles with a solution to form a slurry, exposing a porous support to the slurry to form copper hydroxide over surfaces of the porous support, and drying the porous support. In other embodiments, forming the hydrogen sulfide filter comprises mixing one or more copper-containing salts with a solution to form a reagent solution, exposing a porous support to the reagent solution to impregnate the porous support with the reagent solution, and drying the porous support. Other methods of forming the hydrogen sulfide filters, related hydrogen sulfide filters, and systems including the hydrogen sulfide filters are also disclosed.
LAMINATED NONWOVEN FABRIC SHEET
The invention provides a laminated nonwoven fabric sheet formed by uniting an ultrafine fiber layer and a hydrophilic short fiber layer, in which the hydrophilic short fiber layer is laminated on one surface or both surfaces of the ultrafine fiber layer, the ultrafine fiber layer is formed by combining 20 to 80% by mass of thermoplastic resin fibers (A) and 80 to 20% by mass of elastomer resin fibers (B) that melt or soften at a temperature lower than a temperature of thermoplastic resin fibers (A), and the ultrafine fiber layer includes a hindered amine compound, the laminated nonwoven fabric sheet is subjected to electret processing, and 10% stretch strength in one direction is different from 10% stretch strength in a direction perpendicular to the one direction.
Filtration material, filter element using same, and manufacturing method of filtration material
A filtration material of the present invention comprises a bulky fiber sheet layer having a thickness of 0.5 mm or more, and a triboelectrically-charged nonwoven fabric layer in which two or more types of fibers different in constituent resin are mixed, wherein constituent fibers of the triboelectrically-charged nonwoven fabric layer penetrate into the bulky fiber sheet layer. A three-layer filtration material of the present invention comprises bulky fiber sheet layers having a thickness of 0.5 mm or more, and a triboelectrically-charged nonwoven fabric layer, which is located between the bulky fiber sheet layers, wherein the constituent fibers of the triboelectrically-charged nonwoven fabric layer penetrate into the bulky fiber sheet layers, and both bulky fiber sheet layers contain fibers having a limiting oxygen index of 20 or more, and have a mass per unit area 0.5 times or more than that of the triboelectrically-charged nonwoven fabric layer. A filter element of the present invention comprises the filtration material in a pleated state.
ANTIMICROBIAL FIBERS
The invention provides an antimicrobial fiber which exhibits excellent antimicrobial properties even without the addition of antimicrobial agents and can remain antimicrobial even after repeated washing. The antimicrobial fiber comprises a fiber having on a surface thereof a polyacetal copolymer (X) containing oxyalkylene groups, the molar amount of oxyalkylene groups in the polyacetal copolymer (X) being 0.2 to 5 mol % relative to the total of the molar amount of oxymethylene groups and the molar amount of oxyalkylene groups.
Hot-extraction paper
A hot-extraction paper consisting substantially of cellulose and manufacturing assistants needed in cellulose and manufacturing assistants needs in cellulose production, such as pH modifiers based on acids and/or bases, the paper comprises exclusively cellulose having fibre lengths of at least 2.0 mm on length-weighted average, more particularly at least 2.5 mm on length-weighted average, and has isotropic extension properties which are substantially equal in machine and cross directions and amount to at least 7.5%, more particularly at least 8.5%.
