CHEMICAL LIQUID PURIFICATION METHOD AND CHEMICAL LIQUID
An object of the present invention is to provide a chemical liquid purification method which makes it possible to obtain a chemical liquid having excellent defect inhibition performance. Another object of the present invention is to provide a chemical liquid. The chemical liquid purification method according to an embodiment of the present invention is a chemical liquid purification method including obtaining a chemical liquid by purifying a substance to be purified containing an organic solvent, in which a content of the stabilizer in the substance to be purified with respect to the total mass of the substance to be purified is equal to or greater than 0.1 mass ppm and less than 100 mass ppm.
Hybrid felts of electrospun nanofibers
The present invention relates generally to compositions for use in biological and chemical separations, as well as other applications. More specifically, the present invention relates to hybrid felts fabricated from electrospun nanofibers with high permeance and high capacity. Such hybrid felts utilize derivatized cellulose, and at least one non-cellulose-based polymer that may be removed from the felt by subjecting it to moderately elevated temperatures and/or solvents capable of dissolving the non-cellulose-based polymer to leave behind a porous nanofiber felt having more uniform pore sizes and other enhanced properties when compared to single component nanofiber felts.
Mask and Method for Manufacturing Same
A mask according to an embodiment of the present disclosure includes a filter structure provided in a form in which a plurality of members are laminated, and a fiber sheet coupled to a circumferential part of the filter structure and configured to come into contact with a user's face, wherein the fiber sheet may be manufactured using an isotropic fiber sheet.
Porous Polymer Scaffolds, and Methods of Making and Using the Same
Polycaprolactone (PCL) scaffolds having macropores interconnected with micorpores are provided. Tissue grafts that include the PCL scaffold having therapeutic cells encapsulated within the macropores are also provided. Also provided are methods of making the PCL scaffold and the tissue graft, and methods of transplanting cells into an individual using the tissue graft.
EROSION AND SEDIMENT CONTROL ABOVE GRATE BASED INLET FILTER SYSTEM
An above grate based inlet filter system for erosion and sediment control comprises a filter mat configured to extend beyond the perimeter of the grate and a securing mechanism, such as magnets, configured to securing the filter mat around the perimeter of the grate. The system may include a filter berm secured in vicinity to the mat, and a rectangular array of magnets coupling the filter mat to the grate. The natural fiber filter mat may effectively be formed of vertically aligned coir fibers or alternatively of reticulated foam. Multiple side edges of the mat are undulating having a pattern of repeating recesses. The mat includes a plurality of high flow holes extending into the mat and which are closed at a bottom surface thereof. The mat includes at least one removable dewatering plug configured to allow for selective mat bypass
Filtration Media for Filtration/Purification of a Liquid or Gas, Related Reactor Modules, Filtration Devices and Methods
The invention includes a filtration medium for the purification of a liquid or a gas material that includes a mat having a first surface and a second surface. At least one of the first surface or the second surface is substantially non-planar. The mat comprises a foamed resin having a density of about 1 lbs/ft3 to about 3 lbs/ft3 and/or an indentation load deflection of about 35 lbs to about 150 lbs.
Also included in the invention is a filtration medium for the purification of a liquid or a gas material comprising at least two mats, each mat having a first surface and a second surface, wherein at least one of the first surface or the second surface is substantially non-planar and has a substantially non-uniform convolution profile.
Included are devices for the filtration of a liquid and/or a gas that comprise one or more reactor modules. The reactor modules include the filtration medium and a substantially cylindrical chamber and/or a substantially rectangular chamber that may include sides, a top and a bottom. The chamber additionally includes a base that extends from the sides of the chamber towards the interior of the chamber and the filtration medium is disposed within the chamber.
Methods of filtering a gas or liquid material using the filtration medium are also provided, as are methods of fabrication of the modules.
Coated, reticulated foam air filter suitable for respiration
A coated, reticulated foam air filter for filtering air suitable for respiration is described. The air filter comprises a reticulated foam structure and a nontoxic tackified coating applied to a functional surface of the foam structure.
Erosion and sediment control above grate based inlet filter system
An above grate based inlet filter system for erosion and sediment control comprises a natural fiber filter mat configured to extend beyond the perimeter of the grate and a securing mechanism, such as magnets, configured to securing the filter mat around the perimeter of the grate. The system may include a filter berm secured in vicinity to the mat, and a rectangular array of magnets coupling the filter mat to the grate. The natural fiber filter mat may effectively be a coir fiber filter mat extending beyond the perimeter of the grate, wherein the coir fiber filter mat is formed of vertically aligned coir fibers. The optional filter berm may be effectively formed as triangular in cross section and formed of 100% reticulated polyether foam and formed to be at least 3 in height.
FILTER MATERIAL AND FILTER ELEMENT PRODUCED THEREFROM
The invention relates to a filter material comprising a carrier material that is impregnated on one side with a thermally pre-crosslinked binder system (VB) and on the other side with a thermally crosslinkable but un-crosslinked binder system (UB). The filter material is characterised by improved deformability and a very good level of heat sealability, particularly using ultrasound, and a low pressure differential particularly when filtering high-viscosity liquids.
