HEALTH FUNCTION-CUSTOMIZED NATURAL MINERAL ACTIVATING COMPOSITE FILTER, AND METHOD FOR PRODUCING SAME
The present invention provides a complex that is capable of eluting minerals beneficial to the human body and adjusting the contents of the minerals according to their health functions, and a method for producing the same. Specifically, the present invention provides a composite filter including: a filter impregnated with halite; a filter impregnated with calcite; and a filter impregnated with organic germanium-containing ore powder, wherein the filter impregnated with halite, the filter impregnated with calcite, and the filter impregnated with organic germanium-containing ore powder are sequentially stacked.
Catalyst system based on spherical activated carbon as a carrier and use thereof
The invention relates to a method for producing a catalyst system having at least one catalytically active component, wherein the catalytically active component comprises at least one metal, wherein first a spherical activated carbon used as a catalyst carrier is subjected to an oxidation. Subsequently, the catalytically active component is applied, optionally followed by a reduction of the catalyst system obtained in said manner.
MORPHOLOGICALLY ENHANCED, ADSORBENT FILTER MEDIA
Filter media comprising surface-treated fiber webs having one or more advantageous physical properties are generally described. Certain improvements in the surface-treated fiber webs described herein may be realized in filter media comprising adsorbent particles. The improvements herein are, in some embodiments, related to favorable distributions of cavities in surface-treated fiber webs, such as those used in backers of the filter media.
Layered or mixed sorbent bed protective filtration device
A filtration device including a fluid-impermeable housing having a gas inlet and outlet, and containing within the housing first filter media particles of an extended surface area substrate and containing at least one metal impregnant, and second filter media particles of an extended surface area zirconium hydroxide substrate and zinc (hydr)oxide. The device may be used in atmospheres containing various harmful gases, and may provide particularly useful improvements in NO.sub.x breakthrough times compared to a device containing only the first filter media particles or only the second filter media particles.
Layered or mixed sorbent bed protective filtration device

The device may be used in atmospheres containing various harmful gases, and may provide particularly useful improvements in NO.sub.x breakthrough times compared to a device containing only the first filter media particles or only the second filter media particles.
CARBON AS AN AIDE FOR DUCTILE NANOCELLULAR FOAM
A method of fabricating an article includes providing an arrangement of loose nanowires and bonding the loose nanowires in the presence of carbon together into a unitary cellular structure.
IMPREGNATED FILTER MATERIAL
A method for manufacturing an impregnated filter material includes preparing at least one impregnating solution comprising sulphate and phosphate; providing a filter material; and impregnating the filter material with at least one impregnating solution, at least once. In this manner, it is possible to manufacture an impregnated filter material for the removal of noxious substances and/or toxins, which includes sulphate and phosphate. The noxious substances and/or toxins can thereby be present in the form of gases and/or vapours.
RECIRCULATION FILTER FOR AN ELECTRONIC ENCLOSURE
The technology disclosed herein relates to filter assemblies and methods of making filter assemblies. One filter assembly has a first sheet of filter media having a first perimeter region and a second sheet of filter media having a second perimeter region. The first perimeter region and the second perimeter region are bonded in a rim region. A plurality of adsorbent beads are disposed between the first sheet of filter media and the second sheet of filter media, and a substantial portion of the plurality of adsorbent beads are unbonded. Other embodiments are also described.
Method of treating a textile with graphene and textile so obtained
Method of treating a textile article by impregnation with a water dispersion of graphene nano-platelets in an impregnation bath comprising also a polymeric binder and an anti-migration and wetting agent. Graphene is fixed in the textile article to improve its thermal and electrical conductivity, as well as its filtering power and germ-blocking properties.
Filter medium for separating nitrogen oxides
A filter medium is provided with a layer (A) provided with non-impregnated active carbon, a layer (B) with a solid carrier material that is impregnated with a permanganate salt, and a layer (C) with alkaline impregnated active carbon. The layer (B) and the layer (C) are arranged such that a gas flowing through the filter medium flows through the layer (B) before flowing through the layer (C). The layer (A) is arranged such that the gas flowing through the filter medium flows through the layer (A) before flowing through the layer (B) or the gas flowing through the filter medium flows through the layer (A) after flowing through the layer (C).
