GAS DETECTOR
A gas detection unit is accommodated within a housing of a gas sensor and the outside atmosphere of the housing is introduced through the filter to the gas detection unit. The filter comprises an organic polymer gas-permeable filter removing siloxanes and an inorganic filter removing alcohols and passing gases to be detected.
STABLE FILTER MEDIA INCLUDING NANOFIBERS
Filter media comprising nanofibers and related components, systems, and methods associated therewith are provided. In some embodiments, a filter media may comprise a first fiber web and a second fiber web designed to impart beneficial properties to the filter media. For instance, in some embodiments, the first fiber web may provide high particulate efficiency and the second fiber web may provide suitable capacity. In some embodiments, the first and second fiber webs may have certain properties (e.g., water contact angle, surface energy) that are similar or substantially the same. The similarities between the first and second fiber webs may serve to enhance the structural stability of the filter media under various conditions (e.g., high temperature, high pressure, steam sterilization) and/or permeability to certain fluids (e.g., water). Filter media, as described herein, may be particularly well-suited for applications that involve liquid filtration.
Fluid purification device
A fluid purification device includes a screen plate, a first filtration layer, a second filtration layer, a third filtration layer, a main body, and a dispensing plate. The screen plate has a plurality of inflow holes for filtering particles in fluid passing therethrough. Around a periphery of the screen plate, several convex sections are arranged and spaced apart from one another. The main body is hollow and has an open top and an open bottom opposite to the open top. Around an inner wall of the open top, several concave sections are arranged and spaced apart from one another. The concave section is shaped in conformity with the convex section, so that the screen plate can be secured to the open top of the main body.
CYLINDRICAL FILTER DEVICE, MANUFACTURING METHOD AND USAGE OF THE SAME, AND FILTER SYSTEM HAVING THE SAME
A cylindrical filter device of the present invention includes a wavy filter screen, a sealing device, and a connecting device. The wavy filter screen includes a first flexible side, a second flexible side opposite to the first flexible side, and a plurality of wavy structures disposed between the first flexible side and the second flexible side. The wavy filter screen wraps to form a cylindrical structure with respect to an axis. The opposite ends of the cylindrical structure are respectively wrapped to form a first opening and a second opening by the first flexible side and the second flexible side. The sealing device is disposed at the first opening and has a first groove. The first flexible side is able to engage with the first groove with its elasticity and makes the first opening be sealed by the sealing device. The connecting device is disposed at the second opening. The connecting device has a second groove and a port. The second flexible side is able to engage with the second groove with its elasticity and makes the second opening communicate with the port.
Air filters with functionalized nanotube compositions to control pathogens such as SARS CoV-2 (coronavirus)
Nanotube compositions may be employed in many different forms alone, and/or with surfactants, with antiviral metals, with antigens, and/or with various drugs to control pathogens like viruses e.g., SARS COVID-2, bacteria, mold, fungi, chemical or biological agents etc in masks or other personal protection equipment. The personal protection equipment such as masks reduce, control, absorb, deactivate, detoxify, and/or kill the pathogens such that a pathogen or pathogens deleterious effects are reduced and/or eliminated to a user of the mask.
Protective face masks
An improved protective face mask used to filter out hazardous pollution and airborne germs and viruses. Embodiments include a three layer version including a first spunbond TETHYS SHIELD treated layer, a meltblown filtration layer, and a second spunbond layer; a four layer version further including a gasket layer formed of a felt material; and a five layer version further including an activated carbon layer in between the spunbond TETHYS SHIELD treated layer and the meltblown filtration layer.
Silicon carbide filter membrane and methods of use
Described are silicon carbide filters for use with liquid metals such as liquid tin, as well as methods of using such a filter to remove particles from the liquid metal, and systems and processes that use the filtered liquid metal.
NUCLEIC ACID PURIFICATION DEVICE AND NUCLEIC ACID PURIFICATION METHOD
A nucleic acid purification device according to the inventive concept includes an activated carbon fiber filter, wherein the activated carbon fiber filter includes an activated carbon fiber and a potassium compound coated on the surface of the activated carbon fiber.
