The invention pertains to an air filter element (100) comprising: a filter medium pack (110) comprising a filter medium, said filter medium pack having an optionally substantially planar first side (111) and an optionally substantially planar second side (112), said first side (111) and second side optionally being parallel (112); and a guiding rim (120) comprising a sealing surface having at least a radially oriented component, arranged on at least one of said first side (111) and said second side (112); wherein a circumference of the or each guiding rim comprises at least one convex portion and at least one concave portion; and wherein a contour of said filter medium pack (110) corresponds to said convex portion of said guiding rim and at least part of said concave portion. The invention also pertains to a method for producing an air filter element.

A method for controlling display of information on a display device includes storing information corresponding to a broadcast program guide. When a signal is received based on activation of a specific key while the first broadcast program is displayed on a screen, information on the first broadcast program and information on a second program to be broadcast after the first broadcast program is detected. The first broadcast program is then displayed in a first region of the screen simultaneously with the information on the first broadcast program and the information on the second broadcast program in a second region of the screen.

A filter element for insertion into a housing of a filter system. The filter element includes a filter medium pack and a seal receiver. The filter medium pack has an outer circumferential face extending between a first outer axial face and a second outer axial face, opposite the first outer axial face. The filter element further includes a seal receiver sealingly attached to the filter medium pack. The seal receiver includes a closed-loop surface suitable for receiving a removable circumferential seal member, and wherein the closed-loop surface forms a contour shape with single-fold rotational symmetry. A seal assembly including a filter element and a seal carrier is also presented.

A method of manufacturing a media assembly comprises winding a filter media about a center axis into a media roll and cutting the media roll along at least two cut lines and into at least two media packs of at least two media assemblies. The media roll is cut along at least one plane that is parallel to the center axis.

A two-stage separator system having a housing extending between a first end and a second end. The housing defines a housing inlet, a separator outlet towards the second end, and a filtration outlet on the first end. A filter assembly has a first sheet of filter media coupled to a second sheet of filter media mutually defining a plurality of flutes extending in an axial direction. The filter assembly defines an inlet flow face and an outlet flow face. A filtration media pack is provided having a plurality of layers of single facer media. The layer of single facer media includes a fluted sheet, a facing sheet, and a plurality of flutes extending between the fluted sheet and the facing sheet and having a flute length extending from a first face to a second face of the filtration media pack. A first portion of the plurality of flutes are closed to unfiltered fluid flowing into the first portion of the plurality of flutes, and a second portion of the plurality of flutes are closed to unfiltered fluid flowing out of the second portion of the plurality of flutes so that fluid passing into one of the first face and the second face of the media pack and out the other face of the media pack passes through media to provide filtration of the fluid.

The present disclosure relates to filtration media packs, filter elements, and methods for manufacturing filtration media packs and filter elements. The present disclosure is directed to filtration media packs having alternating first media sheet and second media sheet secured together and forming a first flow face and a second flow face, wherein the first media sheet and the second media sheet provide a first separation or gap therebetween as a result of the presence of a first plurality of protrusions or bosses extending from at least one of the first media sheet or the second media sheet, and a second separation or gap therebetween as a result of a second plurality of protrusions or bosses extending from at least one of the first media sheet or the second media sheet, and the media pack being closed to passage of unfiltered fluid therethrough from the first flow face to the second flow face or from the second flow face to the first flow face without filtering passage through the first media sheet or the second media sheet.

According to the present disclosure, air cleaner assemblies, housings, serviceable filter cartridges and features, components, and methods, relating thereto are disclosed. In general, the features relate to systems that are configured to aid in inhibiting an improper cartridge from being installed in an air cleaner housing, during servicing. A variety of features are characterized, and in many examples, the cartridge includes a seal arrangement having radially directed seal surface with at least a first non-wavy or non-projection/recess section and a second wavy or projection/recess section. Examples are shown and described in detail.
