Tubular filter that absorbs ethylene or other gases, for refrigerated transport containers
The invention relates to a tubular filter that absorbs ethylene or other gases for refrigerated transport containers, formed by a cylindrical tube of plastic mesh (2) with hermetic caps (3) at both ends, which contains granules that absorb ethylene or other gases, the mesh (2) having a structural configuration formed by an inner crown (20) having a circular filament (201), and an outer crown (21) having a wing-shaped filament (211), the base thereof being wider than the distal end thereof, thereby facilitating the entry of air flow into the tube. It further comprises a support accessory (4) fixed in the container for which the filter (1) is intended, and it has an aerodynamic shape that helps to increase air flow through the filter (1) and liquid collection means.

Pre-purification arrangement for air separation and method of hybrid air purification
A method and apparatus for purifying air via a pre-purification unit (PPU) of an air separation unit (ASU) system can include passing air through a first adsorber of the PPU to purify the air for operation of the ASU system while it is at or below a first pre-selected operational capacity. In response to the operational capacity of the ASU system needing to be increased to a level above the first pre-selected operational capacity threshold, a second adsorber can be brought on-line in parallel with the first adsorber or in series with the first adsorber to provide improved purification capacity to account for the increased demand for purification capacity resulting from the increased operational capacity of the ASU system. This second adsorber can be different from the first adsorber (e.g. different in size, adsorption capacity for impurities within air, and/or configuration, etc.).
FILTER BODY, FILTER ELEMENT, AND FILTER ASSEMBLY
A filter body is provided with a filter medium that has filter layers arranged one over the other, wherein each filter layer is provided with at least one active material. The at least one active material may be the same in each of the filter layers. The filter layers are flowed through serially one after another in a through-flow direction of the filter body. The filter body is provided with sensor devices arranged one after another in the through-flow direction of the filter body, wherein each sensor device is arranged between neighboring filter layers so that the sensor devices in the through-flow direction of the filter body determine a sorption capacity of the at least one active material of each filter layer over a service life of the filter body.
SYSTEM AND METHOD FOR SAFE STORAGE, SEPARATION, AND RECYCLING OF COMPONENTS FROM EMISSIONS AND EFFLUENTS
A filtering cartridge for storage and separation of gases from chamber emissions. The invention further discloses a method to separate the waste streams of gases from the effluents on the basis of physical properties such as polarity, thermal stability, molecular weight, molecular size and others. The toxic components from the effluent are safely stored and recycled, and high-pressure storage of gases is avoided and they are stored at or below atmospheric pressure.
MODULAR RADIAL ADSORBER BED FOR DIRECT AIR CAPTURE
A modular adsorber bed for fitting to a vacuum chamber for use in a vacuum temperature swing direct air capture process for extracting carbon dioxide from atmospheric air. The modular adsorber arrangement comprises a plurality of adsorber cartridges arrangeable in an axially parallel array. Each adsorber cartridge comprises a hollow cylinder containing adsorber held in place between an outer gas permeable tube and an inner gas permeable tube, said inner gas permeable tube forming an axially disposed void within the cartridge, wherein, in use, each cartridge is configured to receive airflow from which to adsorb carbon dioxide in a radial direction through the adsorber towards the axially disposed void or in a radial direction through the adsorber away from the axially disposed void.
Porous solid amine adsorbents and applications
Porous solid amine adsorbents are prepared by bringing into contact a first (e.g., dope) solution, including a water insoluble polymer and a water-soluble amine polymer, with an aqueous solution containing a multifunctional chemical agent. The first solution can be obtained by dissolving the water insoluble polymer and the water-soluble amine polymer in a polar solvent. The adsorbents can be in the form of beads, sheets, fibers, hollow fibers, etc. and can be used in the removal of acid gases, CO.sub.2, for instance, from fluid streams.

A system and a method for continuously separating carbon dioxide from gas mixtures, utilizing a continuous loop of porous monoliths which support a sorbent within its pores. Continuously exposing a portion of the continuous loop of monoliths to a flow of gas mixture containing a minor proportion of carbon dioxide, to adsorb carbon dioxide from the flow. The loop passes through a sealed regeneration and carbon dioxide capture assembly located astride a portion of the loop, and which is capable of sealingly containing a monolith in relative movement through the assembly. The assembly chamber comprises a plurality of separately sealed zones, including at least one zone for purging oxygen from the monoliths, a subsequent zone for heating the monolith to release the adsorbed carbon dioxide, and another cooling zone for cooling the monolith prior to reentering the adsorption portion of the loop where it is exposed to oxygen.
