Systems and methods for vehicle fuel tank refueling
Methods and systems are provided for vehicle fuel tanks including multiple reservoirs. In one example, a method may include opening a canister purge valve of a fuel system responsive to a fuel level of a fuel tank transitioning above a first threshold fuel level, and closing the canister purge valve after flowing a pre-determined amount of fuel to the fuel tank while the canister purge valve is open.
MICROMETRIC VALVE ACTUATOR DEVICE FOR GAS PRESSURE CONTROL
The present invention addresses to a device that allows the control of the gas pressure at the outlet of a fixed bed adsorption equipment operated at high pressures, by means of the actuation of a micrometric valve (6), wherein the valve must be located downstream of the equipment. The valve actuation takes place by means of a stepper motor (1), controlled by a microcontroller board (22), which connects to the valve shaft by means of a system of pulleys (2, 5) and belt (3). The present invention is applied in adsorption units, in which other gases are present, by altering the tuning parameters of the PID controller or even being used in a liquid medium or gas-liquid two-phase flow.
Apparatus for producing liquid water from ambient air by adsorption at night and desorption during the day
The apparatus for producing liquid water from ambient air includes a lower frame and an upper cover defining an inner space, and at least one air inlet in the lower frame. An adsorption and desorption module is arranged in the inner space with a bed of adsorbent material. A ventilator varies between a first mode in which it imposes vertical forced circulation of the ambient air, and a second mode in which the upper cover acts as a condenser for the ambient air. A valve is arranged in the upper cover to allow the ambient air to flow from the inner space to the outside environment when the ventilator is in the first mode, the valve being otherwise closed. An electronic unit switches the ventilator selectively into the first mode during a period of night time and into the second mode during a period of day time.
Canister
A canister includes a filling chamber and an internal structure. The filling chamber is filled with activated carbon. The internal structure includes a first component and a second component that are arranged in the filling chamber. The first component is located at a position that is different from a position of the second component in a flow direction of an evaporated fuel in the filling chamber and is positioned such that at least a portion thereof does not overlap in position with the second component when projected onto a plane perpendicular to the flow direction.
DISEASE DIAGNOSIS DEVICE AND DIAGNOSIS METHOD THEREOF
Disclosed are a disease diagnosis device and a diagnosis method thereof. The disease diagnosis device includes a pump for pumping a respiratory gas, a first pre-treatment portion connected to the pump and removing moisture and bad breath in the respiratory gas, and a volatile organic compound (VOC) detection portion connected between the first pre-treatment portion and the pump to detect VOCs in the respiratory gas.
AIR POLLUTION PREVENTION DEVICE FOR BABY CARRIAGE
An air pollution prevention device applied for a baby carriage includes a sealing cover, a filtration cleaner, a gas detection module and an intelligent control and process device. The sealing cover is hooded on the baby carriage for forming a sealed space. The filtration cleaner penetrates the sealing cover form the outside of the baby carriage for introducing an outside air into the sealed space of the baby carriage and discharging an air pollution source out of the sealed space. The gas detection module detects the air pollution source and outputs gas detection data. The intelligent control and process device receives and compares the gas detection data and controls an enablement of a gas guider of the filtration cleaner for filtering and exchanging the air pollution source in the sealed space so as to generate a clean air.
ADVANTAGED ADSORPTION CONTACTORS
Contactor structures are provided that can allow for improved heat management while reducing or minimizing the potential for contamination of process gas streams with heat transfer fluids. The contactor structures can include one or more sets of flow channels for process gas flows, such as gas flows introduced to allow adsorption of components from a gas stream or gas flows introduced to facilitate desorption of previously adsorbed components into a purge gas stream. The process gas flow channels can correspond to flow channels defined by a structural material of unitary structure. The unitary structure can correspond to the entire contactor, or the unitary structure can correspond to a monolith that forms a portion of the contactor. The contactor structures can also include one or more sets of flow channels for heat transfer fluids. The heat transfer flow channels can also be defined by the structural material of a unitary structure.
FUEL CELL SYSTEM CONTAINING CATALYST BASED FUEL CONTAMINATION SENSOR AND METHOD OF OPERATING THEREOF
A method for operating a fuel cell system is provided. The method includes controlling a provision of fuel to the fuel cell system operating in a steady-state mode. The catalyst sensor is operated by providing a portion of the fuel and anode exhaust generated by the system to the catalyst sensor. Further, a change in an outlet temperature of the catalyst sensor is detected. Thereafter, it is determined whether a reformation catalyst of the catalyst sensor is poisoned by contaminants in the fuel based on the detected change in the outlet temperature.
COMPACT CLOSED-SPACE SYSTEM FOR ILLUMINATION, CLIMATE CONTROL AND AIR PURIFICATION
A compact conditioning system for controlling a volume, comprises: (a) at least one light source, said light source being coupled with a replaceable focusing lens; (b) at least one fan; (c) at least one temperature sensor; (d) control circuitry adapted to receive inputs from said sensor(s) and/or from a user, and to operate said light source(s) and/or said fan(s) as a result thereof; and (e) a housing suitable to house said light source, fan and control circuitry and adapted to be positioned at the top of a structural element defining a closed space.
LOW EMISSION ADSORBENT AND CANISTER SYSTEM
The present description provides low DBL bleed emission performance properties that allows the design of evaporative fuel emission control systems that are simpler and more compact than those possible by prior art by inclusion of a vent-side volume comprising a parallel passage adsorbent such as a carbon honeycomb with narrow channel width and low cell pitch.
