Air treatment article

An air treatment article is provided, comprising: a semipermeable barrier and a plurality of multi-staged non-film forming polymer abatement particles having a core polymer and at least one shell polymer; wherein the core polymer accounts for 1 to 25 wt % of the weight of the non-film forming polymer abatement particles; wherein the semipermeable barrier is disposed between an air atmosphere and the non-film forming polymer abatement particles; wherein the semipermeable barrier impedes passage therethrough by the non-film forming polymer abatement particles; wherein the semipermeable barrier permits passage therethrough by a for-treatment air containing a contaminant such that the for-treatment air can make contact with the non-film forming polymer abatement particles; wherein the non-film forming polymer abatement particles have an affinity for the contaminant.

INJECTION LANCE ASEMBLY

Conditioned syngas composition, method of making same and method of processing same to produce fuels and/or fischer-tropsch products

A system and method for processing unconditioned syngas first removes solids and semi-volatile organic compounds (SVOC), then removes volatile organic compounds (VOC), and then removes at least one sulfur containing compound from the syngas. Additional processing may be performed depending on such factors as the source of syngas being processed, the products, byproducts and intermediate products desired to be formed, captured or recycled and environmental considerations.

HYBRID BOILER-DRYER AND METHOD

A method for reducing the emission of contaminants by a furnace is provided. The method includes forming a bed from a stream of fuel within the furnace; fluidizing the bed with flue gas from the furnace; and heating the fuel within the bed so as to generate char, ash and contaminants. The method further includes capturing the contaminants via the ash.

Calcium Cobalt Zirconium Perovskites as Oxygen-Selective Sorbents for Gas Separation
20200276536 · 2020-09-03 ·

The present disclosure provides methods to use calcium cobalt zirconium perovskites as oxygen-selective sorbents for the separation of oxygen from a gas mixture such as air. Systems and high temperature oxygen detectors are also provided. In a preferred embodiment, the perovskite is configured as a membrane.

Wet desulfurization process using a suspension bed

Provided is a wet desulfurization process using a suspension bed. The process comprises mixing desulfurization slurry with a hydrogen sulfide containing gas to obtain a first mixture, and passing the first mixture into a suspension bed reactor from bottom to top, with controlling the first mixture to have a dwell time of 5-60 minutes in the reactor to allow they contact and react sufficiently with each other; and subjecting a second mixture obtained from the reaction to gas liquid separation to produce a purified gas. The process of the present invention may reduce the hydrogen sulfide content in the hydrogen sulfide containing gas from 2.4-140 g/Nm.sup.3 to 50 ppm or less, so that the desulfurization efficiency is 98% or more. The process of the present invention is simple and reasonable, with high desulfurization and regeneration efficiency, simple equipment, little occupation of land and low investment, which is very suitable for industrial promotion.
