OZONE LAUNDRY SYSTEM
A water ozonation system (18) that receives source water (16) from a water source (14) and converts it to ozonated water (20) for use in a washing machine (12) includes a system body (30), an ozone generator (38), a sensor assembly (21), and a controller (46). The system body (30) receives the source water (16) from the water source (14). The ozone generator (38) is configured to generate ozone. The ozone generator (38) is coupled the system body (30). The sensor assembly (21) is also coupled to the system body (30). The sensor assembly (21) is configured to sense at least one ambient environmental condition and generate at least one electronic data signal based on the sensed at least one ambient environmental condition. The controller (46) receives the at least one electronic data signal from the sensor assembly (21) and regulates a level of ozone that is generated by the ozone generator (38) based at least in part on the at least one electronic data signal.
Operation of a HVAC system to desorb a filter
An HVAC system for a motor vehicle includes a filter that absorbs odors and gases in a cabin of the motor vehicle and desorbs the odors and gases when heated, and a heater that is turned on to heat the filter during cool ambient conditions. The heater is turned off during warm ambient conditions and warm ambient air is utilized to heat the filter. The desorbed odors and gases are purged from the cabin of the motor vehicle.

A sample concentrator tube having a heat-resistant planar heating element adhered thereto, an analysis device comprising the same, and an analysis method using the same, according to the present invention, have an effect capable of precisely controlling the temperature by uniformly and rapidly heating the sample concentrator tube to a target temperature for desorption, and capable of almost simultaneously desorbing an adsorbed sample in any part of an adsorbent by minimizing a local temperature difference of the adsorbent in the tube. In addition, it is possible to minimize chemical noise by preventing thermal denaturation of the adsorbent caused by over-heating, and there is an advantage of excellent reproducibility as well as an effect of being inexpensive, economical, and excellent in energy efficiency.

The main tube has a main axis of extension, and the heater extends parallel to the main axis. The main tube has two openings that are arranged at opposing side faces of the main tube. A channel for an aerosol is arranged within the main tube between the heater and the outer wall and between the two openings. Furthermore, a method for removing semi-volatile material and semi-volatile particles from an aerosol is provided.

PORTABLE INDOOR/OUTDOOR ATMOSPHERIC WATER GENERATOR
A wirelessly controlled device for atmospheric water generation is provided. The device comprises an atmospheric water generator for generating filtered potable water and a wireless external control system. The wireless external control system comprises one or more display presentation pages for displaying a plurality of operating parameters for the atmospheric water generator, including content display with a variety of operation parameters and historical water collection data for operation of the atmospheric water generator. The wireless external control also has one or more display pages configured for user input for a user to select one or more water generation parameters for operation of the atmospheric water generator. Once the device is directed by the wireless external control system to generate water, the device is capable of automatic water generation until the device fulfills the one or more set water generation parameters.
EXHAUST-GAS PURIFICATION SYSTEM OF INTERNAL COMBUSTION ENGINE
An exhaust-gas purification system of an internal combustion engine includes an electrically heated catalytic device and a three-way catalytic device. The electrically heated catalytic device includes a first honeycomb base having a large number of honeycomb passages and a first catalyst component that is supported on, by a predetermined thin-film treatment, surfaces that define the honeycomb passages and that contains one or more types of noble metals. The three-way catalytic device includes a second honeycomb base having a large number of honeycomb passages and a second catalyst component that is supported on surfaces defining the honeycomb passages and that contains one or more types of noble metals. The total noble metal content per unit volume of the second honeycomb base is higher than the total noble metal content per unit volume of the first honeycomb base.
HUMIDITY CONTROLLER
To reduce loss due to water evaporation and to efficiently release moisture from a moisture absorbing portion, in the humidity controller according to the present invention, a moisture absorbing portion (2) is formed to include at least two gel sections each with a different thermal conductivity and to release absorbed moisture from an exposed surface (31) that is a specific region exposed outside and that is disposed on the surface opposite to a heater (5) on the basis of heating by the heater (5).
