Generating method and generator for generating mist or fine-bubble by using surface acoustic wave

A generating method for generating one of mist and fine-bubbles or fine-bubbles is provided. The generating method includes arranging a piezoelectric substrate equipped thereon with an excitation source in a liquid, generating a flow of the liquid using a liquid flow generator that generates the flow of the liquid relative to the piezoelectric substrate, exciting a surface acoustic wave on the excitation source, propagating the excited surface acoustic wave so as to generate mist on a gas side and to generate fine-bubbles on a liquid side of the piezoelectric substrate, carrying the generated fine-bubbles away from the piezoelectric substrate with the generated flow of the liquid, and drawing the liquid containing the fine-bubbles from a liquid container which contains the liquid.

Fan coil apparatus including a humidification unit and a humidification unit

A fan coil apparatus includes a humidification unit having a water mist production member, and an air flow path. The water mist production member includes a chamber. In operation, a water mist produced by the water mist production member is present in the chamber. The air flow path extends from an air inlet to an air outlet and passes through the chamber. Air passing through the air flow path draws water mist from the chamber and out the air outlet. The air inlet includes a scoop positioned in a first portion of an air flow path of the fan coil apparatus.

HUMIDIFIER RESERVOIR FLUID CONTROL

Humidifier and related method embodiments are disclosed herein. A humidifier includes a liquid tank, a reservoir, a liquid atomizer, a valve, and a controller. The liquid tank defines a first interior volume, the reservoir is in liquid communication with the first interior volume, and the liquid atomizer is located in the reservoir. The valve is configured to actuate between a closed position and an opened position. The closed position prevents liquid communication between the first interior volume and the reservoir. The opened position allows liquid communication between the first interior volume and the reservoir. The controller is coupled to the valve and configured to selectively actuate the valve between the closed position and the opened position.

Aerosol delivery device with microfluidic delivery component

The present disclosure relates to a microfluidic vaporizer, an aerosol delivery device that may include such vaporizer, and methods for forming an aerosol. A microfluidic vaporizer can comprise a substrate that defines: a reservoir configured to hold a liquid; a heater adapted to vaporize the liquid; and a capillary channel configured for movement of the liquid from the reservoir to the heater. An aerosol delivery device can comprise a shell and a microfluidic vaporizer. The microfluidic vaporizer and aerosol delivery device can be used for forming aerosols with precise and reproducible compositions.

MODULATED RESONATOR GENERATING A SIMULATED FLAME
20190003670 · 2019-01-03 ·

An artificial flame apparatus produces a simulated flame using a plume of mist that is illuminated around, about, and through an artificial wick. A mist may be produced by a transducer, such as an ultrasonic transducer that is in contact with liquid from a liquid reservoir. The rate of mist exiting the housing may be modulated to produce a more realistic looking artificial flame. A light source is configured to illuminate the mist and/or the artificial wick. The artificial wick may be in the shape of a wick or flame and may include a light source. One or more light sources may be configured as the artificial wick. The light intensity, color and rate of change of light may be modulated to produce a more realistic looking artificial flame. A standing wave tube may vary the rate of mist exiting one or more enclosure openings in the tube enclosure.

Ultrasonic humidifier

An ultrasonic humidifier having stackable and detachable water reservoirs for easy expansion of its water storage capacity. A user can build the ultrasonic humidifier with a number of desired units of the stackable and detachable water reservoirs vertically to suit the usage and to accommodate the space in which the humidifier is used in. Each unit of the stackable and detachable water reservoirs has its own individual floater and draining device to control the replenishment of water to the unit it is attached to. The ultrasonic humidifier having stackable and detachable water reservoirs allows user to refill individual water reservoir unit separately.

Humidifying apparatus

A humidifying apparatus comprising a base comprising a chamber, a water tank removably mounted on the base for supplying water to the chamber, an impeller and a motor for driving the impeller to generate an air flow, an inlet duct for conveying the air flow to the chamber, humidifying means for humidifying the air flow with water from the chamber; and an outlet duct for conveying the humidified air flow from the chamber, wherein a lower internal surface of the water tank comprises a raised portion and a feeder trough, which is lower than the raised portion when the water tank is mounted on the base.
