Mixing apparatus
A mixing apparatus is described. The mixing apparatus has a first port for receiving milk, a second port for receiving steam, and a mixing chamber for mixing the milk, the steam, and air. A channel arrangement connects the first port and the second port, and defines an air intake channel which leads to a frothing section. The mixing apparatus is designed such that, in use, the frothing section fills sufficiently with steamed milk that has a direct path from the second port to the mixing chamber is interrupted by the steamed milk. This provides a noise reduction during use of the mixing apparatus. A flow reducing means, such as a barrier, may be used for this purpose.

Pack for preparing foamed food or beverage products
The invention relates to a pack (100) for preparing a food or beverage product from one or more food or beverage ingredients comprising an insert (10) and a container (20) where the ingredient or ingredients are stored, the insert (10) comprising at least a fluid inlet (110) configured for introducing an aqueous fluid under the form of a jet in the inner volume of the pack, the insert (10) further comprising at least an air conduit (130) configured to allow introducing air from the exterior of the pack and into the inner volume of the said pack through at least an air nozzle (132). The at least one fluid inlet (110) communicates with a depression chamber (200) through at least one liquid nozzle (120) in order to create a jet from a pressurized fluid introduced through the fluid inlet (110). The invention further relates to the use of a pack as described for preparing a food or beverage product.
FLUID MIXING DEVICE
A device for mixing a first fluid and a second fluid may include a primary conduit that may extend along a longitudinal axis of the primary conduit between a primary inlet port and a primary outlet port. The primary conduit may have a constant primary inner diameter for an entire length of the primary conduit. The primary inlet port may be connected to a pressurized source of the first fluid. The device may further include at least one secondary conduit that may extend parallel with the primary conduit. The secondary conduit may include a secondary inlet port and a secondary outlet port. The secondary conduit may have a constant secondary inner diameter. The secondary inner diameter may be smaller than the primary inner diameter. The primary conduit may encompass at least a portion of the secondary conduit. The secondary outlet portion may be disposed within the primary conduit. The secondary inlet port may be connected in fluid communication with a source of the second fluid.
Apparatus for generating ultrafine bubbles of molecular hydrogen in water
An apparatus configured to generate generating water having nano bubbles of molecular hydrogen on demand. The apparatus is connected to a water supply with a valve and has a pump which supplies pressurized water to a venturi gas liquid mixer that also receives a supply of Hydrogen gas. The mixed hydrogen gas/water steam is provided to a nano bubble generating apparatus that uses cavitation to generate nano bubbles of Hydrogen in the water. The Hydrogen nano bubbles have diameters of less than 200 nm and a concentration of up to 1.2 ppm. Further the concentration remains with 85% of the output concentration for at least 12 hours.
Janitorial fill station with aqueous ozone solution and purified water faucets
A disclosed system includes one or more ozone generators disposed and a fluid mixer configured to inject ozone generated by the one or more ozone generators into water received from a water source via a water inlet to produce an aqueous ozone solution that is output via an aqueous ozone solution outlet. The aqueous ozone solution outlet is fluidically coupled to a splitter. The system further includes a janitorial fill station with a first faucet fluidically coupled to a first output of the splitter and configured to dispense a first portion of the aqueous ozone solution, a carbon filter fluidically coupled to a second output of the splitter and configured to reduce an ozone concentration of a second portion of the aqueous ozone solution to produce purified water for consumption, and a second faucet fluidically coupled to the carbon filter and configured to dispense the purified water.
Fine bubble generating device
A bubble generating device is disclosed which includes: a bubble generator including a tubular body, a liquid introduction port, a gas introduction port, and a discharge port; and a gas supply unit including a gas supply port, a pressurized gas being supplied to the bubble generator through the gas supply port, wherein the flow passage of the bubble generator extends substantially along a same axis, a plurality of reduced diameter portions each having an inner diameter reduced are provided along a direction along which the liquid flows, and gas-liquid mixing portions are provided downstream of the respective reduced diameter portions in a contiguous manner, each of the gas-liquid mixing portions having an inner diameter larger than a minimum inner diameter of each of the plurality of reduced diameter portions, and the gas introduction port of the bubble generator is formed of a plurality of through holes.

Aeration cone for hydraulic turbine
An aeration apparatus for aerating water discharged from a hydraulic turbine includes: a manifold disposed within a crown of a runner of the hydraulic turbine; a plurality of radial pipes extending radially from an outer perimeter of the manifold and in fluid communication with the manifold; and one or more air injectors having a first end disposed within an aeration pipe, each of the one or more air injectors having a second end extending into a nozzle at a first end of one of the radial pipes. Rotation of the aeration apparatus resulting from rotation of the runner causes pumping of water from the manifold through the radial pipes past the one or more air injectors, and water flowing past the one or more air injectors causes air to become entrained in the water. The radial pipes discharge the water and entrained air from the aeration apparatus.
NANOGAS SHEAR PROCESSING
A process for separation of a slurry by radially injecting a stream of a nanogas solution at a shear-focus volume within a pipe; passing an aqueous slurry through the pipe along a direction of flow and through the shear-focus volume; and shearing and/or admixing the slurry with the nanogas solution within the shear-focus volume.
