The invention relates to a device for generating gas bubbles in a liquid in a container, including at least one rotatable hollow shaft arranged horizontally in at least one container; at least one gassing disc arranged vertically on the at least one hollow shaft; and at least one feed line for supplying at least one compressed gas to the interior of the at least one hollow shaft, said compressed gas being brought into the feed line and hollow shaft directly, without a liquid carrier.

A combination water and air pump and method of use, for simultaneously circulating and aerating water. The pump including a housing, a first chamber for circulating water, having an inlet for water to be drawn into the first chamber and an outlet for water to exit the first chamber, a second chamber for aerating water, having an inlet for water to be drawn into the second chamber, an apparatus to draw air into the second chamber, and an outlet for aerated water to exit the second chamber. A rotatable shaft connected to a first rotatable impeller in the first chamber and a second rotatable impeller in the second chamber. In use, rotation of the shaft simultaneously rotates the impellers to circulate water within said first and second chambers.

A reactor is provided for the preparation of modified bitumen, which reactor comprises a horizontal housing comprising a cylindrical wall and two side walls, wherein a bitumen inlet has been provided at or near one of the side walls of the housing and a bitumen product outlet has been provided at or near the opposite side wall of the housing, wherein a plurality of inlets for the provision of oxygen-containing gas has been provided in the cylindrical wall of the housing between the bitumen inlet and the bitumen product outlet, which multi-purpose reactor is further provided with a mixer arranged inside the housing comprising at least one rotor rotating within at least one stator having a plurality of openings. The reaction is used to prepare modified bitumen by contacting bitumen in the reactor with a modified elevated temperature and pressure.

The present invention pertains to an oxygen dissolution device. According to the device, the oxygen and water introduced into the housing are agitated and mixed with each other by eddies and currents formed by the plurality of first smashing blades and the second smashing blades, then converted into oxygen-dissolved water having a large amount of dissolved oxygen. Therefore, an amount of oxygen which is not dissolved in the water to be waste may be decreased so as to reduce purchase costs of oxygen, as well as, when supplying the oxygen-dissolved water having a large amount of dissolved oxygen as described above to a fish farm, the amount of dissolved oxygen of the water in the fish farm may be rapidly adjusted to a level which is suitable for the farmed fish to live in.

Provided are a method and apparatus for generating ultrafine bubbles in a liquid. The method involves introducing, in real time, and at a time when dispensation of the liquid with ultrafine bubbles is to occur, the liquid into a liquid chamber. A bubble generator is activated to impart a shearing force on the liquid within the liquid chamber to cause cavitation of the liquid that results in formation of the ultrafine bubbles. The liquid containing the ultrafine bubbles that exits the liquid chamber is dispensed, to be imparted onto a target object.
