Disclosed herein are a refrigerator and a control method of the same. The refrigerator includes a purified water pump which increases a pressure of water, a carbon dioxide regulator which decreases a pressure of carbon dioxide, a mixing pipe which mixes water which introduced from the purified water pump and carbon dioxide which introduced from the carbon dioxide regulator, and produces carbonated water, a user interface which receives a production condition of carbonated water from a user, and a controller which controls the purified water pump and the carbon dioxide regulator such that the pressure of the water and the pressure of the carbon dioxide reach a target pressure corresponding to the input production condition.

Method and apparatus for cartridge-based carbonation of beverages

Systems, methods and cartridges for carbonating or otherwise dissolving gas in a precursor liquid, such as water, to form a beverage. A gas source can be provided in a cartridge which is used to generate gas that is dissolved into the precursor liquid. A beverage medium, such as a powdered drink mix or liquid syrup, may be provided in the same, or a separate cartridge as the gas source and mixed with the precursor liquid to form a beverage. The use of one or more cartridges for the gas source and/or beverage medium may make for an easy to use and mess-free system for making sparkling beverages, e.g., in the consumer's home.

An alcohol aging assembly for rapidly aging distilled spirits includes an aging container for containing alcohol. A cylinder comprised of copper is provided which can be submerged in alcohol without imparting an unpleasant flavor to the alcohol. A plurality of dowels is each of the dowels is disposed within the cylinder and each of the dowels is comprised of oak to facilitate a chemical process to enhance the flavor and color of the alcohol. A light emitter is disposed inside of the cylinder to emit light into the alcohol when the cylinder is submerged into the alcohol. The light emitter emits light in the ultra-violet spectrum to increase the rate of chemical reaction between the alcohol and the dowels thereby speeding up the process of aging the alcohol.

INLINE GAS/LIQUID INFUSION SYSTEM WITH ADJUSTABLE ABSORPTION OUTPUT AND SELF-TUNING CAPABILITY
20180085723 · 2018-03-29 ·

An inline gas/liquid infusion system featuring an electronic control logic and subsystem having a signal processor configured to: receive signaling containing information about a liquid pressure of an incoming liquid provided from a pump to an inline gas liquid absorption device and about a gas pressure of an incoming gas provided to the inline gas liquid absorption device; and determine corresponding signaling containing information to control the liquid pressure of the incoming liquid provided from the pump to the inline gas liquid absorption device in order to provide real time adjustable set point output levels of gas absorption in the inline gas liquid absorption device, based upon the signaling received.

Device for preparing milk froth that can be optionally hot or cold, or for dispensing optionally hot or cold milk
09924829 · 2018-03-27 · ·

The invention relates to a device for preparing milk froth that can be optionally hot or cold, or for dispensing optionally hot or cold milk (1), said device comprising a milk container (4) that can be removed from the device, a milk inlet which connects the milk container (4) to a cold froth device via a milk valve section, said cold froth device being activatable by means of an air valve section, and comprising an outlet line (15) that is located downstream of the cold froth device and comprises an outlet (16). The milk container (4) can be inserted into the device (1) in a guided manner and the base (4a) of said container is equipped with a milk snap-in valve (17). A complementary receiving section (17a) for the milk snap-in valve is fixed in the device (1) and is formed as a milk inlet directly on the milk valve section. When the milk container (4) is inserted, the milk snap-in valve (17) engages in the complementary receiving section (17a) for the snap-in valve and is locked therein.

Drink Producing Apparatus With A Decompression Chamber Chargeable With Ambient Air, Household Refrigeration Apparatus As Well As Method For Producing A Drink
20180057338 · 2018-03-01 ·

The invention relates to a drink producing apparatus with a dispensing container, which is formed for receiving a first liquid addable to a drink by the drink producing apparatus and which is connected to a dispensing unit of the drink producing apparatus for conducting the liquid from the dispensing container to the dispensing unit, wherein a decompression chamber is formed between the dispensing container and the dispensing unit, in which the carbonized liquid can be expanded to a pressure lower compared to a pressure present before introduction into the decompression chamber, and the drink producing apparatus has an air supply unit, by which ambient air can be conveyed into the decompression chamber for generating the pressure in the decompression chamber. The invention also relates to a household refrigeration apparatus and a method.

Refrigerator and controlling method thereof

A refrigerator and a control method thereof are provided. The refrigerator includes a carbonated water producing apparatus configured to produce carbonated water by supplying water and carbon dioxide gas to a carbonated water tank, a user interface configured to display information of carbonated water concentration, and a control unit configured to control the carbonated water producing apparatus to produce the carbonated water according to the information of carbonated water concentration, wherein the user interface displays a set concentration of the carbonated water and a present concentration of the carbonated water.

Carbonated fluid dispenser with ultrasonic foaming mechanism

The embodiment relates to beverage dispensing, and more particularly to the dispensing of a carbonated beverage, from any container into a vessel, providing a portion of the beverage as foam atop the dispensed beverage. To avoid the reduction of absorbed carbon dioxide in a carbonated beverage, increased atmospheric pressure is employed to move the beverage from the container through the apparatus and into the vessel. An oscillating means provides a sonic wave through the conduit and the liquid therein; the sonic wave initiates the reaction between the carbon dioxide and the ingredients in the beverage to cause the liquid to foam prior to dispensing into the vessel. Iterations include an adaptable apparatus for a beer tap and a means for passing the liquid to be dispensed through a permeable container filled with soluble material or a permeable container filled with a filtration means.
