Beverage dispensing assembly and container for use in a beverage dispensing assembly
Beverage dispensing assembly, comprising a container and a tapping apparatus having a chamber in which the container fits and can be entered into through an opening closable by a lid, such that the container is enclosed between the lid and an opposite end of a chamber, wherein spaced apart from the lid and preferably at said opposite end of the chamber a first connector is provided, for feeding pressurised gas into the container through a gas inlet provided in the container, and at the side of the opening of the chamber a pressure element is provided for pressing the container with the gas inlet onto the first connector.
Carbonated Fluid Dispenser with Ultrasonic Foaming Mechanism
The embodiment relates to beverage dispensing, and more particularly to the dispensing of a carbonated beverage, from any container into a vessel, providing a portion of the beverage as foam atop the dispensed beverage. To avoid the reduction of absorbed carbon dioxide in a carbonated beverage, increased atmospheric pressure is employed to move the beverage from the container through the apparatus and into the vessel. An oscillating means provides a sonic wave through the conduit and the liquid therein; the sonic wave initiates the reaction between the carbon dioxide and the ingredients in the beverage to cause the liquid to foam prior to dispensing into the vessel. Iterations include an adaptable apparatus for a beer tap and a means for passing the liquid to be dispensed through a permeable container filled with soluble material or a permeable container filled with a filtration means.
Process for supplying magnesium and/or calcium enriched water based beverage and associated manufacturing apparatus
The invention relates to a process for producing magnesium and/or calcium-enriched drinking water based beverage, comprising: —preparing a concentrated aqueous solution of magnesium and/or calcium bicarbonate by, a) providing a powder of magnesium and/or calcium compound in a reactor (4); b) adding an aqueous liquid in said reactor; and c) injecting carbon dioxide (CO.sub.2) into said reactor; —adding at least part of the concentrated aqueous solution of magnesium and/or calcium bicarbonate into a flowing circuit comprising an aqueous liquid. The invention also relates to the associated manufacturing apparatus comprising a reactor.
Gas-injected beverage apparatuses, systems, and methods
Gas injection apparatuses include a gas inlet, a gas outlet, a primary gas chamber, a gas reduction chamber, and a fluid dispensing passageway. The primary gas chamber has a first cross sectional size and is fluidly connected to the gas inlet and the gas outlet. The gas reduction chamber is fluidly connected to the primary gas chamber, the gas inlet, and the gas outlet. The gas reduction chamber has a second cross sectional size that is less than the first cross sectional size. The fluid dispensing passageway is fluidly connected to the gas reduction chamber by a gas delivery orifice having a third cross sectional size that is less than the second cross sectional size.
Focused stream, aerated foam projecting nozzle including fixed wand system and method as well as possibly portable center pointing nozzle
The invention includes components and methodology for fixed and semi-fixed systems for extinguishing fire in large industrial flammable liquid storage tanks, including aerated foam projecting nozzles discharging substantially focused streams together with aeration chambers and risers.
Hydrogen water generator
A hydrogen water generator includes a hydrogen water discharger including a water outlet, a seating unit disposed under the water outlet and forming a seating surface, a water container seatable on the seating surface and including an opening at an upper end of the water container, and a first magnetic body at a lower end of the water container, and the seating unit including a second magnetic body. When the water container is seated on the seating surface, the first magnetic body and the second magnetic body are attractable to each other to position the water container with respect to the water outlet.
Water carbonation unit and continuous water carbonation method
Provided is a water carbonation unit including: at least one water feed and at least one pressurised carbon-dioxide feed; a merging duct extending between a first, closed end and a second end, the at least one water feed and at least one carbon-dioxide feed opening into said duct at said first end; said second end opening into a mixing chamber linked to a carbonated water outlet; the carbonated water outlet configured to restrict outflow of carbonated water from the chamber to thereby maintain pressure within the chamber while carbonated water flows out of the carbonated water outlet.
FIXED SYSTEMS AND METHODS FOR EXTINGUISHING INDUSTRIAL TANK FIRES, WITH AND WITHOUT FIXED ROOF, INCLUDING AERATED FOAM PROJECTING NOZZLES AND CENTER DIRECTED NOZZLES
Fixed systems and method for extinguishing large scale industrial tank fires, with and without fixed roofs, and featuring aerated foam projecting nozzles and including fixed center directed nozzles.
Carbonation method
A method and apparatus for carbonating a liquid in a pressurizable vessel, including first connecting a vessel with a carbon dioxide tank, wherein said vessel contains a liquid. A vessel can then be pressurized with carbon dioxide to a desired pressure. A pump or compressor can be activated to circulate gas through a hose out of the head space of the vessel to a carbonating stone back into the vessel. After a pre-determined period of time the pump is deactivated, and the carbon dioxide can cease to be introduced to the liquid within the vessel.
System and method for deaerating beverages
A method of producing a carbonated beverage comprising a blend of water and syrup having a predetermined final carbonation level. The method includes the steps of: introducing CO.sub.2 into a flowing stream of a product blend comprising water, syrup and dissolved oxygen, such that CO.sub.2 is dissolved in the product blend; deaerating the CO.sub.2-containing product blend by introducing the blend into a vented atmospheric vessel, the interior of which is at ambient pressure with a headspace maintained above the surface of the liquid within the vessel, whereby dissolved oxygen is released from the product blend and vented from the vessel; pumping the deaerated product blend from the vessel, wherein the deaerated blend includes dissolved CO.sub.2 at an intermediate carbonation level less than the final carbonation level; and carbonating the deaerated product blend to the final carbonation level downstream of the vented vessel to produce a carbonated beverage for subsequent packaging. A system for performing the method is also provided, as well as a method of producing a beverage using nitrogen deaeration.
