Construction material mixing system
Systems and methods for preparing construction material mixtures. A container can include a flexible body having an interior for receiving and holding construction material mixture components to be mixed. The construction material mixture components can be mixed in the interior by rotating a mixing tool. The flexible body is collapsible for forcing the construction material mixture out of a mouth of the container. The flexible body can be everted to facilitate cleaning the interior of the flexible body. The system can also include a stand, a mixing tool, a funnel, and/or a measuring cup.
Process for densification of poly(arylene ether ketone) powders
Process for densification of a poly(arylene ether ketone) (PAEK) powder or of a mixture of poly(arylene ether ketone) (PAEK) powders, the process being mixing the powder or the mixture of powders, in a mixer equipped with a rotary stirrer including at least one blade, for a period of between 30 minutes and 120 minutes, preferably of between 30 and 60 minutes, at a blade-tip speed of between 30 m/s and 70 m/s, preferably of between 40 and 50 m/s.
Molten material stirring system and method for stirring the material
A system and method for stirring molten material such as glass are provided. To prevent sagging of a cover of a stirring system, a portion where deformation or sagging may significantly occur is suspended by a suspension system, so that local sagging and deformation of the cover is suppressed. As a result, a crack which may occur in the cover is suppressed, and therefore, contamination of the molten material is likewise suppressed.
Device for characterising a liquid material
A device for characterising at least one liquid material includes an analysis head and a rotating mechanical mixer. The mixer includes a central part having an internal cavity which forms an analysis chamber, a first end connected to the analysis head, and a plurality of stirring blades which are connected to a second end that is hollow so as to ensure fluid communication between the internal cavity and the liquid bath. The mechanical stirring blades are intended to be totally submerged, the central part comprises one or more openings intended to be partially submerged, and each mechanical stirring blade comprises at least one stirring flange oriented at a non-zero angle of orientation.
Continuous Blade Impeller
An impeller is usable in a variable diameter bioreactor having multiple vessel sections of successively increasing or decreasing volume. The impeller includes an impeller blade extending along an impeller blade axis between first and second axial ends and having opposed impeller blade faces, an impeller blade leading edge, and an impeller blade trailing edge. Each of the leading and trailing edges defines a helix or spiral between the axial ends of the impeller blade. In certain arrangements, the impeller blade is one of at least two impeller blades joined together along an impeller shaft extending axially along the impeller blade axis mentioned, and the helix or spiral has a pitch approximately equal to one half of a length between the first and second axial ends.
APPARATUS FOR THE MANUFACTURE OF THREE-DIMENSIONAL OBJECTS
An agitator for an apparatus for the manufacture of three-dimensional objects. The agitator comprises at least one blade coupled to a shaft, and extending outwardly from the shaft. Cavities are defined between the at least one blade and the shaft, such that movement of the agitator within a powder repository keeps the powder in a fluidised state and prevents the powder from agglomerating.
KNEADING DEVICE CAPABLE OF DETECTING PRESSURE AND DISPERSION DEGREE
There is provided a kneading device for dispersing a dispersoid in a non-conductive material. The kneading device includes a pressure measurement unit that has a pressure receiving portion which comes into contact with a kneading substance formed of the non-conductive material and the dispersoid, and that measures a pressure value applied to the kneading substance formed of the non-conductive material and the dispersoid, and a determination unit that determines a dispersed state of the dispersoid dispersed in the non-conductive material, based on the pressure value measured by the pressure measurement unit.
Vibration isolation blender system
A blender base is generally described. The blender base includes a base frame. An outer shell may be connected to the base frame. A motor housing is supported by the base frame and positioned inside the outer shell. The motor housing is isolated from direct connection with the outer shell to reduce the transfer of noise and vibration from the motor to the outer shell.
Stirring Rod Of Hot And Cold Foods Supplying Machine And Assembled Stirring Unit Thereof
The present invention relates to a stirring rod of hot and cold foods supplying machine and an assembled stirring unit thereof. The assembled stirring unit includes an assembled piece and a stirring blade, wherein a length direction of the assembled piece is an axial direction, a direction perpendicular to the axial direction is a radial direction, and the assembled piece has a first joining piece and a second joining piece respectively at two ends thereof in the axial direction. The stirring blade is provided on the assembled piece and extends towards the radial direction, and the stirring blade is twisted at an angle by having the radial direction as an axis. The stirring rod is formed by serially connecting multiple assembled stirring units along the axial direction.
System for Continuous Make-Down of Powder Material
A system for continuously making-down a dry powder material is provided. The system may include a liquid supply system, a material feed system, a vessel, a filter, and an agitator. The vessel may receive a continuous supply of liquid from the liquid supply system and a continuous supply of dry powder from the material feed system. The liquid and material may be discharged continuously from the vessel. A filter may sealingly extend across the outlet to filter the solution exiting the vessel. The filter may include an upstream surface in contact with the inner volume of the vessel. The agitator may be disposed within the vessel and may be configured to agitate the contents of the vessel. The agitator may include a wiping member configured to contact the upstream surface of the filter while agitating the contents.
