The one or more cement precursors comprises one or more of calcareous sludge; paper pulp, biomass flyash; bag house dust; biomass sludge; filter cakes from bio industry's and wastewater treatment; bio ash; biomedical ash; agricultural ash; sugar cane bagasse; rice husk ash; palm oil fuel ash; oxygen furnace slags; plant stalks; bio char; starch; pyrophyllite; or a combination thereof. The one or more alkaline activating agents comprises potassium silicate, potassium hydroxide, sodium hydroxide, sodium silicate, calcium hydroxide, magnesium hydroxide, reactive magnesium oxide, calcium chloride, sodium carbonate, silicone dioxide, sodium aluminate, calcium sulfate, sodium sulfate, or dolomite, or a combination thereof. The system comprises a vertical impact mixer.
Method and system for forming a composite material
A method of forming a composite material includes mixing granules of thermoplastic(s) and granules of reinforcing material(s) using a mixer with an interior friction coating. The friction generated by interaction between the granules and friction coating causes granules of at least one of the thermoplastic(s) to be heated to a liquid or semi-liquid state. The liquid/semi-liquid thermoplastic(s) act a binder for the mixed material. A system for forming such a composite material includes such a mixer with an interior friction coating. The system may also include a mould and/or a press for forming material produced by the mixer into a finished shape. The method and system may use post-consumer and post-industrial material as an input allowing such material to be recycled. In some cases, cross-contaminated or mixed post-consumer/post-industrial material may be recycled, potentially reducing environmental impacts.

Agricultural sampling, sample preparation and analysis system and related methods
An automated computer-controlled sampling system and related methods for collecting, processing, and analyzing agricultural samples for various chemical properties such as plant available nutrients. The sampling system allows multiple samples to be processed and analyzed for different analytes or chemical properties in a simultaneous concurrent or semi-concurrent manner. Advantageously, the system can process soil samples in the as collected condition without drying or grinding. The system generally includes a sample preparation sub-system which receives soil samples collected by a probe collection sub-system and produces a slurry (i.e. mixture of soil, vegetation, and/or manure and water), and a chemical analysis sub-system which processes the prepared slurry samples for quantifying multiple analytes and/or chemical properties of the sample. The sample preparation and chemical analysis sub-systems can be used to analyze soil, vegetation, and/or manure samples.
Process of manufacturing a dental milling block with a homogeneous color and/or translucency gradient
The invention relates to a process of manufacturing a dental milling block with a homogeneous color and/or translucency gradient. This process comprises the steps of providing a mold with a cavity having a z-direction and an x/y-direction, filling the cavity partially with a first powder up to a height H1, the first powder having a volume VP1 with a top and bottom surface, introducing a second powder on top of the first powder up to a height H2, the second powder having a volume VP2 with a top and bottom surface and, the top surface of the first powder being in contact with the bottom surface of the second powder and forming an intermediate region, providing a mixer unit with at least one rotatable mixing element, introducing the rotating mixing element in z-direction into the intermediate region, mixing the powder located in the intermediate region by rotating the mixing element, removing the rotating mixing element from the powder, compacting the powder, optionally applying heat to the compacted powder, the first powder differing from the second powder by its physical properties and/or chemical composition and/or color. The invention also relates to a process of producing a dental restoration using dental milling block obtainable according to this process.
MOLTEN MATERIAL STIRRING SYSTEM AND METHOD FOR STIRRING THE MATERIAL
A system and method for stirring molten material such as glass are provided. To prevent sagging of a cover of a stirring system, a portion where deformation or sagging may significantly occur is suspended by a suspension system, so that local sagging and deformation of the cover is suppressed. As a result, a crack which may occur in the cover is suppressed, and therefore, contamination of the molten material is likewise suppressed.
Cartridge structure designed for generation of hydrogen gas
This invention relates to a cartridge structure (100, 200, 300) designed for generation of hydrogen gas by means of generating hydrogen using hydride solutions (sodium hydride, lithium borohydride, potassium borohydride, ammonium borane, etc.) in presence of a catalyzer. The objective of this invention is to provide a cartridge structure (100, 200, 300) designed for generation of hydrogen gas by means of generating hydrogen using continuously fed hydride solutions in presence of a catalyzer.
Fluid mixing system with flexible drive line and foldable impeller
A fluid mixing system includes a container, such as a flexible bag, bounding a compartment. A flexible drive line is disposed within the compartment, the drive line having a first end rotatably connected to a first end of the container and an opposing second end rotatably connected to a second end of the container. At least one mixing element, such as an impeller, can be coupled with the flexible drive line. Rotation of the drive line facilitates rotation of the impeller within the container.
