The facing surfaces of the radial teeth have a parabolic profile in circumferential direction. For each tooth, the parabolic profile lies along a curve of a parabola of which a vertex is arranged at a rear edge of the tooth, with respect to a direction of rotation of the rotor, and along a radius extending from the rear edge to a center of the rotor. The focus of the parabola is also located on the radius.

Rotary gas bubble ejector
10864486 · 2020-12-15 ·

A rotary gas bubble ejector has a fluid reservoir chamber having at a bottom end a fluid discharge opening and a shaft extending through fluid reservoir chamber in connection with a rotor plate. The rotor plate has an outer dimension greater than the outer dimension of fluid discharge opening and is positioned proximate bottom end of fluid reservoir chamber such that a fluid acceleration gap is formed. Rotation of the shaft and rotor plate initiates a fluid flow thereby generating a low-pressure zone within the fluid acceleration gap, wherein gas is discharged from the fluid reservoir chamber into the fluid acceleration gap. As the gas is expelled from the fluid acceleration gap, fluids, gas and liquid, are brought into contact producing micro-sized gas bubbles that are ejected into the body of liquid.

Fluid mixing system

A fluid mixing system includes a flexible bag having a first end, an opposing second end, and an interior surface bounding a compartment. A first rotational assembly includes a first casing mounted to the first end of the flexible bag and a first hub rotatably mounted to the first casing. A second rotational assembly includes a second casing mounted to the second end of the flexible bag and a second hub rotatably mounted to the second casing. An elongated member has a first end coupled with the first hub and an opposing second end coupled with the second hub, the connector being flexible and having a uniform flexibility along its entire length. A first impeller is mounted to the connector.
