The mixing element 32.4 has a number of circumferentially-spaced slots 42 through which the condiment 38 is discharged into the beverage 44.

Navigated surgical system including override option

A surgical system including a surgical tool and a navigation system for tracking the position of the surgical tool. The surgical tool comprising a housing including a variable speed motor and control module disposed within the housing. The navigation system comprising a navigation console in communication with the control module of the surgical tool, the navigation console may be configured to communicate instructions to the control module of the surgical tool based on the position of the surgical tool relative to a defined zone. The navigation console may be configured to deactivate the surgical tool based on the position of the surgical tool relative to the defined zone. The navigation console may also be configured to provide a user-selectable override option to allow continued operation of the surgical tool within the defined zone.

ADJUSTABLE ADDITIVE CARTRIDGE SYSTEMS AND METHODS

An additive delivery system may incorporate a cartridge system, including a container cap and a reservoir assembly that provides for storage of an additive. The container cap includes a mixing nozzle for mixing of the additive with a base fluid as the base fluid flows from the base fluid container through the cartridge. A one-way valve prevents backflow of base fluid and/or mixed base fluid/additive from an area downstream of the mixing nozzle such that the base fluid supply remains in a pure state.

DISPENSER FOR VISCOUS MATERIALS

The present invention relates to a dispenser for viscous materials that includes a static mixer, a first and second receptacle R.sub.1 and R.sub.2 for a first and second viscous material, connected in fluid communication with the static mixer, a first and second actuator configured for discharge of receptacle R.sub.1 and R.sub.2, an electrically or manually operable drive and a mechanical or hydraulic power transmission configured to translate drive motion into first and second actuator motion.

Apparatus and method for generating a microfoam

An apparatus or method for generating a microfoam, the apparatus comprising a channel having an inlet and an outlet, a source of foamable liquid and pressurised gas arranged to feed into the inlet, wherein the channel is comprised of a spatially oscillating flow channel to provide an oscillating flow direction, the spatially oscillating flow channel oscillating about a bulk flow direction, the spatially oscillating flow channel providing a sequence of planar cross-sections perpendicular to the flow direction, with a sub-sequence of planar cross-sections that are perpendicular to the bulk flow direction in the plane in question, the sub-sequence comprising at least one plane that does not overlap with at least one other plane in the sub-sequence.
