Bone cement application device with closure on the delivery plunger
One aspect relates to a device for producing a bone cement paste from a monomer liquid and a cement powder as parent components of the bone cement paste and for delivering the mixed bone cement paste, the device having a cartridge having a cylindrical interior. The interior of the cartridge is closed on the front side except for a delivery opening for expelling the bone cement paste. A delivery plunger is arranged in the interior of the cartridge. The cement powder is arranged in the interior of the cartridge. A closure is arranged on the front side of the delivery plunger. The closure closes the delivery opening when the delivery plunger is pressed against the front side of the interior of the cartridge. The closure blocks a further movement of the delivery plunger so that the delivery plunger is spaced from the front side of the interior of the cartridge at least in some areas and a dead volume remains in the interior of the cartridge when the delivery plunger is pressed against the front side of the interior of the cartridge.
Mixing and dispensing curable multi-component materials
Methods, apparatus, devices and systems for mixing and dispensing multi-component materials. The mixing and dispensing may be performed using a mobile, enclosed dispenser that can be used to supply a mixed multi-component material at the point of use. In some embodiments, the components to be mixed into the multi-component material may be supplied in cartridges.
MULTIPLE-CHAMBER CONTAINER FOR STORING AND MIXING A MULTI-COMPONENT LIQUID COATING OR ADHESIVE SYSTEM
The invention relates to a multiple-chamber container (1, 1*) for storing and mixing a multi-component liquid coating or adhesive system (M), comprising a first chamber (10) for a first mixing component (B) and at least one other chamber (20) for another mixing component (H), the first chamber (10) and the at least one other chamber (20) being separated by at least one separating wall (30) in liquid-tight fashion and the separating wall (30) comprising a pierceable separating layer (40). The multiple-chamber container further comprises at least one piercing element (50) for piercing the pierceable separating layer (40) in such a way that the first and the one other mixing component (B, H) mix in the first or the at least one other chamber (10, 20). The multiple-chamber container (1, 1*) is characterized in that the at least one other chamber (20) is coaxial to the first chamber (10), the separating layer (40) being partially formed in the separating wall (30). The piercing element (50) is hollow, in particular hollow-cylindrical, and has at least two longitudinally offset openings (51) for introducing either the first or the other mixing component (B, H) into the chamber (10, 20) of the respective other mixing component (H, B).
MIXING SYSTEM
The mixing system includes a first container filled with a polyol composition, a second container filled with an isocyanate composition, and a stationary mixer configured to mix the polyol composition discharged from the first container and the isocyanate composition discharged from the second container. The polyol composition includes a polyol, a catalyst, and a low boiling point compound having a boiling point of less than 0 C. The isocyanate composition includes an isocyanate compound and a low boiling point compound having a boiling point of less than 0 C. The first container and the second container each have an internal pressure in a range of 0.3 to 1.0 MPa at 35 C., and a mixer portion of the stationary mixer has a length of 30 to 230 mm. A mixing system can be provided that enhances the mixability of a polyol composition and a polyisocyanate composition in a stationary mixer and prevents curing in the stationary mixer.
Pressure washers including jet pumps
A pressure washer includes a pump for pressurizing a primary fluid flow, the pump including a pump inlet for receiving fluid from a common fluid source and a pump outlet for supplying a pressurized primary fluid and a jet pump including a primary fluid inlet fluidly coupled to the pump outlet, a secondary fluid inlet configured to receive fluid from the common fluid source, and a fluid outlet. In a high pressure operating mode, all of the pressurized primary fluid flows through the jet pump and exits through the fluid outlet of the jet pump. In a high flow operating mode, all the pressurized primary fluid flows through the jet pump and entrains a secondary fluid supplied through the secondary fluid inlet from the common fluid source so that the secondary fluid also flows through the jet pump, resulting in a combined fluid flow of the primary fluid and the secondary fluid that exits through the fluid outlet of the jet pump.
INTELLIGENT SKIN BEAUTY SYSTEM AND USER TERMINAL
A beauty care system is provided. The beauty care system includes a communication module for establishing a communication link with a user terminal; and a beauty-care-solution-mixing control module for receiving control information from the user terminal over the communication link and performing a beauty-care operation on a target object based on the control information from the user terminal. The control information is determined based on at least one of information of an electronic tag of a cosmetic capsule and characteristic information of the target object.
Multiple function dispenser
A dispenser for mixing and dispensing a liquid chemical concentrate with a diluent from a container. The dispenser includes two slidable eductors one of which is also rotatable. Both a high and low flow rate can be obtained with simultaneous adjustment of concentration of the chemical concentrate. The dispenser has a high degree of accuracy of the amount of dilution of the chemical concentrate as well as positive positioning of the high and low flow rate.
DISPENSER AND MIXER FOR DISPOSABLE CARTRIDGES
A dynamic mixer attachment is disclosed, which is adapted for use with conventional multi-component cartridges. The mixer has dispensing and drive axes that are offset relative to each other to enable use of the mixer with conventional multi-component cartridges. Also disclosed is a dispenser adapted for use with the mixer attachment and conventional multi-component cartridges.
Vee Manifold
A manifold having a first side, a second side, a first channel extending from the first side to the second side, and a second channel extending from the first side to the second side is disclosed. The first channel and the second channel each define a linear longitudinal axis. In one embodiment, the first channel longitudinal axis and the second channel longitudinal axis are oblique to the first side and the second side of the manifold. The manifold of the present disclosure provides channels that can be easily cleaned and allow for an increased flow performance.
Crossover prevention valve
A crossover prevention valve for use in a multi-component fluid mixing and dispensing system includes a valve body defining at least two fluid passageways having respective one-way check valves at their outlet ends. A forward end of the valve body cooperates with an interior surface of a dispensing nozzle to define a mixing chamber for chemically reactive fluids prior to discharging the mixed fluids out of the dispensing nozzle. The crossover prevention valve does not permit reverse flow, thereby preventing clogs due to undesired intrusion of one reactant into the flow path of another reactant. Solidified reactants left in the mixing chamber are easily removed from the valve body, permitting the valve body to be reused even after sitting for extended periods.
