Mixing apparatus, method of making the mixing apparatus and using the mixing apparatus
An apparatus is provided that is configured to be used with a container having contents to permit mixing of the contents of the container. The apparatus includes a main body having a geometrical shape having an open end, a closed end, and a longitudinally extending bore or opening extending from the open end to the closed end. The opening or bore is configured to receive at least a portion of a container. A shaft is generally orthogonally positioned from a portion of the closed end. The shaft is configured to be received by a rotational device. The mixing apparatus can be used to mix various sized containers containing contents having one or more materials to be mixed. The container is not attached to any portion of the main body and the container is configured to rotate freely and independently of the main body during an operation of the rotational device.
Navigated surgical system including override option
A surgical system including a surgical tool and a navigation system for tracking the position of the surgical tool. The surgical tool comprising a housing including a variable speed motor and control module disposed within the housing. The navigation system comprising a navigation console in communication with the control module of the surgical tool, the navigation console may be configured to communicate instructions to the control module of the surgical tool based on the position of the surgical tool relative to a defined zone. The navigation console may be configured to deactivate the surgical tool based on the position of the surgical tool relative to the defined zone. The navigation console may also be configured to provide a user-selectable override option to allow continued operation of the surgical tool within the defined zone.
Mud mixer
A mud mixer comprises a housing defining a battery mounting portion, an electric motor supported by the housing, a mixing element that selectively receives torque from the motor, causing the mixing element to rotate about a rotation axis, and a battery pack removably coupled to the battery mounting portion for providing power to the electric motor when coupled to the battery mounting portion. When the battery pack is coupled to the battery mounting portion, the rotation axis intersects the battery pack.
Cement Mixing Tool
A cement mixing tool with a gearbox transmission assembly, an electric drill tool, a pair of mixing blades, a drive shaft housing assembly, a handle assembly and a splash guard. The electric drill tool is attached to the drive shaft housing assembly. The gearbox transmission assembly is attached to the drive shaft housing assembly. The pair of mixing blades are attached to opposing shafts extending from the gearbox transmission assembly. The splash guard attached to the exterior the drive shaft housing assembly. The handle assembly is attached to the drive shaft housing assembly. The resulting tool can be used by a person to mix wet cement within a wheelbarrow or other similar open topped container.
MIXING DEVICES AND ASSEMBLIES
The present disclosure relates to paint mixing devices, and more specifically to a paint mixing device comprising a shaft portion and a clamp portion. The clamp portion of the disclosed mixing devices is capable of receiving a disposable paint stirrer. The shaft of the disclosed devices is sized to be received by commercially available power drills and electric screwdrivers. The disclosed device advantageously facilitate the mixing of paint by a disposable paint stirrer at revolutions per minute not achievable by hand-mixing.
Mixer
A mixer for use in combination with a bucket and a drill includes an annular rim sized and configured for selective attachment to the bucket; a mixing extension component, the distal end thereof including blades for mixing one or more liquids in the bucket; an opening on the annular rim, the opening being sized for passage of the mixing extension component; a connector component configured for attachment to the distal end of the mixing extension component; a rim member of the connector component configured for being secured about the interior opening of the annular rim for stabilizing the mixing extension component; a manual rotating component; an adapter component configured to be secured to the connector component; and wherein a user can selectively and interchangeably operate the mixer using the drill and the manual rotating component.
Bucket Lid Assembly
A bucket lid assembly for mixing contents of a closed bucket includes a lid that has flat portion and a channel portion is integrated into the flat portion. The channel portion releasably engages a bucket for closing the bucket. The flat portion is comprised of a translucent material to facilitate contents of the bucket to be visible through the lid. The lid has a mixer opening extending therethrough such that a mixing wand is insertable through the mixer opening. In this way the lid facilitates the contents of the bucket to be mixed while the bucket is closed with the lid.
Shaking adapter for a power tool
The adapter connects an aerosol or similarly shaped can to a power tool for the purpose of mixing the contents within the can. The adapter preferably connects a reciprocating power tool, such as a reciprocating saw, to a spray paint can that is necessarily shaken before use. To secure the can to the power tool, the adapter has multiple fingers that grasp the end of an aerosol can with respective tabs. The tabs catch on a ring on the topside of the spray paint can to prevent it from breaking away from the reciprocating tool during operation. To secure the adapter to the can, a collar surrounds the fingers and tightens around the fingers to securely fasten them to the can. Accordingly, the can is held in place until the collar is released and the tabbed fingers can be pulled away from the can.
Mixing apparatus with shafts of different lengths having circular members
A mixing apparatus includes a first shaft, second shaft, and third shaft. The first shaft of a first length has a first end and a second end. The second shaft of a second length is fixed with the second end of the first shaft at a midpoint of the second shaft. The third shaft of a third length is fixed with the first shaft proximate to the second end of the first shaft from one end. The first, second, and third longitudinal axis of the first, second, and third shafts, respectively, are mutually perpendicular to each other. Each of the two ends of the second shaft and other end of the third shaft are fixed with a circular member with a cavity therein such that a circular axis of the first and second circular members fixed at two ends of the second member which are parallel to third longitudinal axis.
PADDLE MIXER
A paddle mixer for evenly and efficiently mixing a volume of aggregate with minimal spillage is described. The paddle mixer includes a first portion, a second portion, a first paddle, and a second paddle. The paddle mixer may include a means for adjustably fixing the first portion to the second portion. The first paddle and the second paddle are arranged on the first portion and the second portion, respectively, such that the first paddle and the second paddle are perpendicular to each other, promoting mixing of the volume of aggregate with a whirlpool effect allowing mixing with minimal spillage. The first paddle and the second paddle may also be arranged perpendicular to each other by the means for adjustably fixing the first portion and the second portion.
