A system for recalculating a formula previously used in preparing a mixture made from adding at least two components. The system includes a control system and salon management software. The control system has a processor, a computer-readable memory, and a display. The memory contains software configured to receive a formula defining instructions for blending a hair dye mixture using one or more blending materials and amounts recommended for the hair dye mixture. The salon management software is stored in the computer-readable memory and executed by the control system. The salon management software is in communication with the control system to exchange information on customers and formulas of hair dye mixtures associated with the customers.

A hair dye dispenser according to an embodiment of the present invention includes a housing having an opening hole formed on one side of which a hair dye is provided, a plurality of cartridges disposed inside the housing and accommodating at least one dyeing material, a main body in which the plurality of cartridges are rotatably disposed, a main motor for rotating the main body so that a first cartridge of the plurality of cartridges is located adjacent to the opening hole, a discharge module for discharging the dyeing material contained in the first cartridge, and an accommodating body in which a basket accommodating the dyeing material discharged by the discharge module is placed, wherein the discharge module may include an elevating body that pressurizes the first cartridge when moving up and is separated from the first cartridge when moving down.

There is disclosed a computer-controlled dispenser system. The system includes a first set of repositories for fluid components suitable for combination into different mixtures, a second set of repositories for viscous components suitable for combination into different mixtures, and a dispensing nozzle where the fluid and viscous components are dispensed. The system further includes a set of valves and pumps for moving fluid and viscous components to a dispensing nozzle and a scale for measuring an amount of fluid and viscous components dispensed from the dispensing nozzle. The system enables computer control to ensure accurate output of both fluid and viscous components according to the instructions received for their creation.

A custom-tint paint production system that includes a color sensing device such as a low-resolution spectrophotometer to measure color of a preexisting surface color, a color data translation engine to convert the measured values to spectral curve values, and a tint formulation engine to determine a custom tint formulation based upon the spectral curve values, which is usable by a tinter to tint a base coating composition by adding one or more colorants in amounts based on color measurements from the color sensing device.

A customized skin care composition. The skin care composition includes a base composition comprising one of an aqueous alcohol composition or an aqueous emulsion. The control unit receives input information in which an amount of cosmetics to be provided is selected by a duration of use, and the cosmetic dispensing unit dispenses each of the cosmetics contained in the plurality of cartridges in an amount corresponding to the duration of use selected according to the input information. The cosmetic dispensing unit supplies an amount of cosmetics to be used by user during the duration of use.

The presently disclosed subject matter relates to a system, device, and method for customizing a cosmetic product. The system includes: an interface device, in electronic communication with a single batch cosmetic device. A plurality of cartridges for holding cosmetic additive which can be dispensed by a mixing assembly in accurate units to create customized cosmetics.

A custom cosmetic dispensing device includes a communication enabled automated dispenser for dispensing a user-specified cosmetic product. The dispenser has a housing with a plurality of liquid-ingredient cartridges removably coupled to a motor, each cartridge used to dispense a processor memory specified volume of liquid-ingredients.
