An automatic plant for preparing paints includes an automatic stock configured to contain a plurality of closed containers with different formats, an automatic process line comprising a plurality of operating stations, robotic unit movable between the various stations of the automatic process line to pick up each container in an inlet station and transfer it in succession from each station to the next station, the robotic unit having an adjustable gripping member configured for gripping containers with at least two different sizes, and a control unit configured to receive paint orders including information relating to the format of the containers and the color of the paint requested by the buyer.

The present teachings contemplate a dispensing apparatus for cosmetic samples, the apparatus comprising a retail point of sale dispenser; a carrier including a plurality of mounts and a plurality of containers removably attached to the carrier via the plurality of mounts; with vertical and horizontal translational components; one or more information retrieval devices; a user interface including a data interface adapted to store information on the one or more information retrieval devices; a transparent panel covering at least a portion of the dispensing apparatus and wherein the one or more information retrieval device are adapted to be maintained in the possession of a user; and wherein the apparatus dispenses cosmetic samples based on user input.

The present invention relates to a device (1) for manufacturing a customized product, preferably a customized cosmetic product, by mixing at least two components housed in a respective container, at least one of the containers being a capsule (4), and at least one other container being a pot (2), said containers are each provided with at least one identification code (3), the identification code (3) of the capsule and of the pot being identical or different, and in that said device (1) for manufacturing a customized product comprises at least one means for reading said identification code (3) of the capsule, at least one means for reading said identification code (3) of the pot, said reading means possibly being a single reading means in the case where the identification code (3) of the capsule and of the pot are identical, and at least one means for writing and rewriting identification codes of the capsule and/or of the pot. The present invention also relates to the use of the device according to the invention for preparing a customized product and to a method for checking and monitoring containers and their content for manufacturing a customized product.

Improving health and experience of a cosmetic product user, the robotic cosmetic mix bar of the present invention is disclosed. The robotic cosmetic mix bar allows the user to select safe ingredients tailored to their own unique hair and skincare goals. In one embodiment, the robotic cosmetic mix bar contains a robotic arm surrounded by a dispenser and multiple processing stations. Based on a user input indicating a type of cosmetic product and the ingredients to include in the cosmetic product, the robotic arm obtains the desired ingredients from the dispenser and, by transporting the ingredients from one processing station to another, the robotic arm facilitates the processing of the ingredients. The processing of ingredients can include boiling, cooling, mixing, whisking, blending, etc. Within approximately two minutes, the cosmetic product built according to the user specifications is delivered to the user.

A makeup fluid management and supply device and method are provided. The method includes the steps of: receiving a cosmetic style template sent from a user device; selecting a makeup bottle by the control module in accordance with a makeup application step of the cosmetic style template and moving the makeup bottle to a using position by the driving module; reading a label information of the makeup bottle; sending the label information to the management unit so as to perform a validation procedure on the makeup bottle; rotating, in response to a positive validation result, the makeup bottle by the driving module so as to perform a makeup fluid mixing procedure on the makeup bottle; and driving, by the driving module, the makeup bottle to move in a first direction until the makeup bottle is squeezed so as to obtain a makeup fluid of the makeup bottle.

An apparatus for manufacturing customized cosmetics according to an exemplary embodiment of the present invention may manufacture customized cosmetics in consideration of an individual skin characteristic and external environment information by combining a dosage form reference component corresponding to a skin state measured by subdividing a face of a user according to each predetermined region and an auxiliary dosage form reference component corresponding to the external environment information.

The autonomous domestic appliance (1) has a communication unit (7) for establishing a communication link with a remotely arranged service unit (2) and, in addition to its actual domestic activity, is designed to detect the need of help of a person as a function of the environmental properties.

A system is provided for generating a custom hair dye formulation to be dispensed into a single customer container for a particular customer. The system establishes a connection with a user device of the particular customer over a network, receives a selection of a preferred type of expertise of a colorist, determines an available colorist that corresponds to the preferred type of expertise, establishes a video communication session between the particular customer and a colorist device of the determined colorist, causes display of a customer interface to the customer, causes display of a colorist interface to the colorist device, and transmits the generated custom hair dye formulation to a fill site, via the network.

A system is provided that includes an advisor device; a user device; and a dispensing device. The advisor device and the user device are configured to perform a communication session with each other that includes transmitting, from the user device to the advisor device, information that includes a desired cosmetic product and information related to a user of the user device; analyzing, by the advisor device, the information received from the user device; and generating and transmitting a recommended cosmetic formula to the user device. The user device is configured to transmit the recommended cosmetic formula to the dispensing device for dispensing the desired cosmetic product.
