System and method for ejecting liquid into a container for mixing and cleaning purposes
A system comprising a mixer with a rotary head fitted with a nozzle for ejecting liquid into a container. At least one drive member rotates the rotary head such that liquid is ejected into the container in a predetermined pattern. A processing unit is configured to receive first and second operation parameters that are representative of mixing of a liquid content of the container respectively cleaning of an inner surface of the container. The processing unit then controls the drive member in response to the operation parameters such that mixing respectively cleaning is effected. A related method and a computer-readable medium are also described.
Plural component spray gun system
A spray gun for a plural component system is provided. The spray gun includes a first component delivery line and a second component delivery line. The spray gun also includes a nozzle, configured to receive and mix a first component received from the first component delivery line with a second component received from the second component delivery line. The spray gun also includes an air purge system configured to, when the spray gun is in a non-actuated position, purge the nozzle of the first and second components and, when the spray gun is in an actuated position, aid in atomization of the mixture of the first and second components.
System and method for starting up stirring machines in a sediment
A system and an associated method for starting up stirring machines in a sediment in a controlled manner are provided, which system has the following: a container for receiving materials to be processed; a stirring device with stirring blades for stirring the materials to be processed in the container; a purging device; and a device for operating stirring machines. The purging device is arranged in such a way and set up so as to feed a medium for purging to a deposited sediment. Furthermore, a controller is provided which initiates controlled re-starting of stirring machines after purging.
Seal system
A seal system (1) for use in mixing apparatus (2) comprising a rotating shaft (3) which passes through a fixed structure (4), the seal system (1) being adapted both to prevent egress of content from the apparatus, and to resist ingress of material into the seal system.
Apparatus and method for developing formulations
The various embodiments of the present invention generally relate to an automated apparatus, wherein the automated apparatus is configured to formulate a target entity, thereby developing formulations of the target entity by using a high throughput screening (HTS) procedure and method of employing the presented automated apparatus is also disclosed herein. Other advantages that are understood from the present disclosure will further be apparent to the reader.
CALCINED GYPSUM SLURRY MIXING APPARATUS HAVING VARIABLY POSITIONABLE LUMP RING AND METHOD FOR MANUFACTURING GYPSUM PRODUCT USING SAME
A mixing apparatus for producing aqueous calcined gypsum slurry includes a housing, a rotor assembly, and an actuator system. The housing defines a mixing chamber therewithin. A top lid of the housing includes a lid ring extending along a normal axis toward a bottom thereof. The rotor assembly includes a rotor disposed within the mixing chamber and a drive shaft extending along and rotatable about the normal axis. The rotor is rotatively coupled with the drive shaft and extends radially therefrom. The upper surface of the rotor and the lid ring are separated by a lid ring gap along the normal axis. The actuator system is arranged with the rotor assembly to selectively move the rotor over a range of travel along the normal axis between a lowered position and a raised position to selectively change the lid ring gap.
Magnetic mixer and mixing system including the same
The present invention relates to a magnetic mixer capable of minimizing mixing of foreign substances, which are generated in components of the magnetic mixer, of a liquid to be mixed, having a simple structure for cleansing a structure supporting an impeller shaft, and capable of securing a sufficient output when a large-scale mixing system with an impeller shaft is configured; and a mixing system including the same.
APPARATUS FOR HEATING OR COOLING RAW MATERIAL
An apparatus is equipped with first and second rotary shaft 3, 4 and a plurality of disks 40, 50 provided upright at equal intervals on the respective rotary shaft. The disks are heated or cooled from the inside, and a raw material is heated or cooled by bringing it into contact with the disk surfaces. Scraper members 45, 45 and 55, 55 that enter between the surfaces of the facing adjacent disks to scrape the raw material are fixed to each of the disks 40, 50. The first and second rotary shafts 3, 4 are rotated at unequal speeds such that the scraper members approach the facing disk surfaces with trajectories drawn thereon varying, so that the raw material that has adhered to the disk surfaces can be effectively scraped off.
Apparatus for producing a liquid concentrate from a dry material
An apparatus for converting a dry material into a liquid concentrate includes a mixing vessel having an outlet opening, a dispenser for dispensing a predetermined weight of a dry material at a predetermined drop rate onto a predetermined drop location within the vessel, an inlet pipe connectable to a source of liquid for introducing a liquid into the vessel; a sensor for sensing the volume of liquid within the vessel; a pump for supplying a pressurized flow of recirculating liquid to the vessel; and a first, a second and a third agitating nozzle mounted within the vessel. Each agitating nozzle is operative to produce a jet of liquid oriented in a predetermined direction within the vessel. The nozzles are cooperable to generate within the vessel a moving body of liquid into which a dry material dispensed into the vessel is able to dissolve or to disperse.
