Methods of making medical solutions and related systems
This disclosure relates to making medical solutions. In certain aspects, a method is performed by a data processing apparatus. The method includes introducing liquid into a container that contains a dissolvable solid concentrate in a manner so that a layer of solution above the solid concentrate is maintained at a depth that allows the liquid introduced into the container to agitate the solution adjacent to the solid concentrate to cause mixing of the solid concentrate with the solution.
Liquid ejection device for a vehicle washing facility, and method for operating same
A liquid ejection device for a vehicle washing facility comprises a storage volume, a first supply line coupled upstream to the storage volume for supplying a first liquid, a supply unit coupled upstream to the storage volume for supplying a second liquid, and a removal line coupled downstream to the storage volume for discharging the liquid to be ejected, with a shut-off device for shutting off liquid flow through the removal line. The storage volume is sealed so that an increase in an internal gas pressure occurs in the storage volume when liquid is introduced. The device further comprises a detection unit for detecting the supplied volume of the second liquid into the storage volume and the internal gas pressure in the storage volume, and a control unit controls the supply of the second liquid based on the detected supplied volume of the second liquid and the internal gas pressure so that a predetermined mixing ratio of the first and second liquid is achieved in the storage volume.
BLENDER HOPPER CONTROL SYSTEM FOR MULTI-COMPONENT GRANULAR COMPOSITIONS

The system includes the control and management of an on-site storage system for each component of a mixture, regulating the delivery rate of a blend mixture into a blender hopper, regulating the exit rate of the blended mixture from the blender hopper, and coordinating the flow of materials into and out of the blender.
RESISTIVITY ADJUSTMENT DEVICE AND RESISTIVITY ADJUSTMENT METHOD
A specific resistance value adjustment apparatus includes: a hollow fiber membrane module; a module passing pipe which passes through the hollow fiber membrane module; a bypassing pipe which bypasses the hollow fiber membrane module; a liquid discharge pipe which communicates with the module passing pipe and the bypassing pipe through a joint portion; a first flow rate detection unit which detects a first flow rate of a liquid flowing to at least one of a liquid supply pipe and the liquid discharge pipe; a control valve which opens and closes the module passing pipe; and a control unit which sets an opening degree of the control valve in response to the first flow rate detected by the first flow rate detection unit.
METHOD AND DEVICE FOR GENERATING INJECTABLE FOAM
The present invention relates to methods and devices for production of injectable foams, such as those used in the treatment of varicose veins and other venous disorders. The method requires the delivery or supply of foamable liquid sclerosing agent and a suitable gas or a gas mixture to a foam producing structure in which the liquid and gas are combined to produce foam, wherein the liquid is delivered independently of the delivery of gas. Devices for producing injectable foam comprise a foam producing structure in which liquid and gas are combined to produce foam, the structure comprising an inlet for liquid and gas and an outlet for foam; a liquid pathway in communication with the inlet; and a gas pathway in communication with the inlet, characterised in that the liquid pathway comprises a means for delivering liquid through the liquid pathway independently of gas delivery through the gas pathway. In preferred embodiments, the delivery of liquid and/or gas is controlled with volumetric pumps.
Jet Fuel Thermal Oxidation Test Equipment
Jet fuels' thermal oxidation characteristics are evaluated via the Standard Test Method for Thermal Stability of Aviation Turbine Fuels. This test method mimics the thermal stress conditions encountered by jet fuel in operation and is often carried out by laboratory devices, known as rigs. The rigs include a test section having a sleeve and a heater tube arranged therein. A pair of bus bars secure the test section to the rig and apply a current to the heater tube. The applied current heats the heater tube and subjects the sample jet fuels that are flowing in the volume between the sleeve and heater tube to high temperatures, which may produce thermal oxidation deposits on the heater tube. Heater tubes are difficult to install, however, and a gauge may be used to ensure accurate placement of the heater tube within the sleeve. In addition, the fuel sample must be prepared via an aeration process, and systems are disclosed for automating the aeration process such that the sample is prepared precisely according to the test standard. Moreover, the rig includes a pump system that moves the fuel sample through the test section, and a pump system is provided in a double syringe arrangement that optimizes fuel flow through the test section without fluctuation. Finally, the rigs include cooling systems for cooling the bus bars and maintaining an appropriate thermal profile within the heater tube, and cooling systems may be provided that independently control the temperature of each bus bar.

Disclosed is an apparatus for preparing and dispensing a lubricant and coolant liquid product including a body with a base that defines a support surface for at least one container of an additive product and having a collection tank above which the container can be positioned, a storage reservoir of water suppliable from a water source, a mixing unit in communication with the reservoir and with the at least one container of the additive product, to mix the water and the additive product in a predetermined concentration, first pumping means adapted to pump the water from the reservoir toward the mixing unit, a control unit to control at least the first pumping means, and a dispensing circuit for dispensing the lubricant and coolant fluid obtained in the mixing unit. The body further includes a containing structure that encloses one, several or all the aforesaid components.
MICRO BUBBLE GENERATION METHOD AND GENERATION DEVICE
A micro bubble generation method and generation device. The micro bubble generation method includes: passing a gas through a microporous material, the gas forming micro bubbles at an interface between the microporous material and liquid, the bubbles being adsorbed on the surface of the microporous material; impacting the micro bubbles adsorbed on the microporous material by relative motion of the microporous material and the liquid, such that the micro bubbles detach from the microporous material and enter into the liquid. The micro bubble generation device includes a gas accommodating chamber (1) disposed below the liquid surface, and a gas transmission pipeline (3). A microporous material layer (2) is arranged around the periphery of the gas accommodating chamber (1). The gas in the gas accommodating chamber (1) passes through the microporous material layer (2) by gas pressure to form micro bubbles on the outer surface thereof. The microporous material layer (2) moves and/or the liquid outside the microporous material layer (2) moves to cut the micro bubbles.
Beverage carbonation system flow control
Various illustrative systems, devices, and methods of beverage carbonation system flow control are provided. A carbonation system is one example of a treatment system to which the systems, devices, and methods described herein apply. In general, a carbonation system is configured to form a carbonated fluid and dispense the carbonated fluid in a controlled manner. In an illustrative embodiment, the carbonation system is configured to begin dispensing the carbonated fluid with a pressure in a chamber of the carbonation system, in which the carbonated fluid is formed, being above atmospheric pressure. A gas is introduced into the chamber after dispensing has already started via the pressure in the chamber to drive the flow of the carbonated fluid. The gas can be introduced into the chamber according to a predetermined pressure profile.
