SINGLE USE SLURRYING AND CHROMATOGRAPHY SYSTEMS
Methods and systems for chromatography are disclosed that employ a flexible container configured to fit within a support structure and adapted to receive a filtration or absorptive medium. The flexible container can include at least one inlet, at least one outlet, and a separation barrier peripherally sealed within the container to separate the container into a resin containing portion and a drainage portion. The barrier can be configured to exclude the resin material from the drainage portion while allowing fluids to pass therethrough. The disposable chromatography system can further include one or more agitators disposed within the flexible container and adjustably configured to be raised or lowered in the flexible container. When the agitator is in the raised position, the resin packing material can operate in a settled, packed-bed configuration. Alternatively, the agitator in the lowered position permits the chromatography resin packing material to operate in a mixed, slurry configuration.
Low humidity generator
The embodied invention is a low humidity generator which encapsulates essential piping, pressure regulator, flow regulator, and saturator in a sealed vacuum chamber. Additionally, a Stirling piston type cooler is used to cool the saturator. This eliminates atmospheric water vapor permeation and the need for thermal insulation surrounding the piping and control units. Also, the humidity generator has improved cool down characteristics, improved thermal control, and better maintenance access.
Measurement of Product Pellets Flow Rate
A process is described that includes flowing a carrier fluid through a transfer line, feeding polymer pellets into the transfer line at a feed location, measuring a first pressure value of the carrier fluid at a location in the transfer line upstream of the feed location, measuring a second pressure value of the carrier fluid and polymer pellets at a downstream location in the transfer line which is downstream of the feed location, and determining a mass flow rate of the polymer pellets flowing in the transfer line based on a differential pressure between the first pressure value and the second pressure value.
Electronic gas dispenser control system having backflow and pressure sensors
An electronic gas dispenser control system having backflow and pressure sensors is described.
Continuous ready mix joint treatment and texture product production
A continuous ready mix joint or texture compound manufacturing system and a method for continuously manufacturing a ready mix joint or texture compound includes a continuous mixer having an inlet and an outlet, a pump disposed at the outlet of the continuous mixer, and a disperger having an inlet and an outlet. The continuous mixer is adapted to receive at least one dry ingredient and at least one wet ingredient at the inlet and continuously mix the at least one dry ingredient and the at least one wet ingredient to form a mixed composition. The pump is adapted to pump the mixed composition from the outlet of the continuous mixer to the inlet of the disperger. The disperger is adapted to receive the mixed composition and apply a shear force to the mixed composition to form a homogenized, disperged composition.
CARBONATOR
A domestic beverage carbonator for carbonating a liquid in a bottle comprising temperature and pressure sensors that communicate with processor to improve the carbonation process. The device further comprises a CO2 cylinder coupling and a cylinder discharge valve, an exhaust valve, a fill head and a user interface. The user interface further comprises user controls and a graphic display and the fill head has a pressure sensor to sense a pressure in the attached bottle and communicate a pressure signal to the processor and the processor uses the pressure signal to regulate the cylinder valve and the exhaust valve.
RATING SYSTEM, PROCESS AND PREDICTIVE ALGORITHMIC BASED MEDIUM FOR TREATMENT OF MEDICAL CONDITIONS AND INCLUDING WORKMAN COMPENSATION AND GENERAL REHABILITATION MODULES FOR OPTIMIZING CARE PROVIDER EFFICIENCIES AND EXPEDITED TREATMENT FOR ACHIEVING HIGHER PATIENT FUNCTIONAL OUTCOMES AND LOWER COST
The present invention discloses a system, method and non-transitory software based computer writeable medium usable with a processor driven device for optimizing the diagnosis, treatment and resolution of worker injury events, such as associated with a workman compensation claim, and which improves upon the existing paper based module by synthesizing, in a digital environment, symptom, treatment and progress variables in a multi-party available format. A further related rehabilitation module, such as not limited to a worker injury event but also including any injury event associated with a typical accountable care organization (insurer/other payor/etc.) in a general health application is provided for establishing and tracking a patient's functional independent (FEM) measurement score. As with the workman compensation module, the rehabilitation module integrates the establishment of current conditions, achievable goals, and time based tracking of the patient treatment (including time elapsed changes in response to flat line response indicating a non-effective treatment plan) in order to define a patient goal outcome and to optimize real time treatment and progress tracking to that goal.
Apparatus for mixing materials which have a high mix proportion/ratio therebetween and preparation production system using the same
A mixing apparatus includes a first and a second feeding tube, a first and a second atomizing/refining dose control device, and a reaction chamber. The first and second feeding tubes are arranged in a multi-sleeves manner. The first and second atomizing/refining dose control devices are respectively disposed on terminal ends of the first and second feeding tubes. The reaction chamber accommodates the first and second feeding tubes and the first and second atomizing/refining dose control devices and has a liquid dose mixing wall. The first and second feeding tubes respectively receive a first and a second liquid dose. The first and second atomizing/refining dose control devices respectively atomize or refine the first and second liquid doses and spray the atomized or refined first and second liquid doses on a surface of the liquid dose mixing wall, so as to mix the first and second liquid doses.
Apparatus for mixing materials dissolved in a high-pressure working fluid
The present invention relates to a mixing apparatus. A production unit produces a working fluid that is in a supercritical state or a subcritical state. A storage unit stores a material. A dissolving unit dissolves the material in the working fluid. A mixer mixes the material together in the presence of the working fluid. A material feed valve opens or closes a flow passage through which the material is to pass to be fed from the storage unit into the dissolving unit. A working fluid inflow valve opens or closes a flow passage through which the working fluid is to pass to flow into the dissolving unit from the production unit. A mixer inflow valve opens or closes a flow passage through which the working fluid and the material are to pass to flow into the mixer from the dissolving unit.
Automated method and apparatus for preparing bioprocess solutions
An automated apparatus for preparing a liquid bioprocess solution includes at least one mixing chamber having a lower port and an upper port for fluid to enter the at least one mixing chamber, an array of tubing for fluid flow within the system, a plurality of valves provided within the tubing, and a mixing controller configured to cause the automated apparatus to perform a series of sequential mixing steps causing the preparation of the liquid bioprocess solution from a dry ingredient. The series of sequential mixing steps include opening a first valve associated with the lower port to provide fluid to the at least one mixing chamber through the lower port, and after a predetermined amount of elapsed time, closing the first valve and opening a second valve associated with the upper port to provide fluid to the at least one mixing chamber through the upper port.
