A mixing profile is generated based on the first weight value, the second weight value, the first rotation speed, and the second rotation speed. In one embodiment, a first feed ingredient is associated with the first weight value and a second feed ingredient is associated with the second weight value.

The assembly further comprises a suction conduit (49) connected to an inlet of the pumping means (45) for withdrawing fluid product from said container (12) installed on the mount (42), a delivery conduit (50) fluidly connecting an outlet of the pumping means (45) and said rotatable diverting element (53), and a recirculation conduit (52) arranged downstream of the diverting element (53) for returning fluid product to the container (12). The rotatable diverting element (53) has at least one recirculation position (O) in which the open end (66) of one of the channels faces the open and of the delivery conduit (50) to be in fluid communication with the latter and the open end (66) of the other channel faces the recirculation conduit (52) to be in fluid communication with the latter so as to recirculate the fluid product to the container (12); and at least a delivery position (I), in which the open end (66) of one of the channels faces an open end of the delivery conduit (50), to be in fluid communication with the latter, and the open end (66) of the other channel faces the dispense opening (40) for dispensing the fluid product.

An automated computer-controlled sampling system and related methods for collecting, processing, and analyzing agricultural samples for various chemical properties such as plant available nutrients. The sampling system allows multiple samples to be processed and analyzed for different analytes or chemical properties in a simultaneous concurrent or semi-concurrent manner. Advantageously, the system can process soil samples in the as collected condition without drying or grinding. The system generally includes a sample preparation sub-system which receives soil samples collected by a probe collection sub-system and produces a slurry (i.e. mixture of soil, vegetation, and/or manure and water), and a chemical analysis sub-system which processes the prepared slurry samples for quantifying multiple analytes and/or chemical properties of the sample. A particular exemplary feed additive delivery device comprised a feed additive hopper for suppling feed additive to a rotary valve that meters feed additive from the hopper to a blow through assembly having an assembly inlet that receives feed additive from the rotary valve, an assembly outlet through which feed additive is dispensed, and an air port for drawing air into the assembly to facilitate feed additive dispensation through the assembly outlet. The system is useful for batching a composition comprising an animal feed and at least one coated animal feed additive, a delicate animal feed additive, or combinations thereof. For certain embodiments the animals are ruminants and the coated feed additive is a coated methionine product.

This disclosure features methods of forming chemical compositions. The method includes (1) mixing a plurality of continuous material flows in a mixing tank to form a chemical composition, each continuous material flow including at least one component of the composition; and (2) moving a continuous flow of the chemical composition to a packaging station downstream of the mixing tank. The mixing and moving steps are performed continuously. This disclosure also features systems that can be used to perform such methods.
