INJECTION SYSTEM FOR WASTEWATER TREATMENT
20200095143 · 2020-03-26 ·

A system and method for monitoring and altering the conditions of a sewage system comprising a wet well connected to a sewer. The wet well is also configured to provide sewage to a secondary system, where the sewage is fed into an oxygen contact chamber. That chamber is fed oxygen which is dissolved into the sewage such that the sewage in the contact chamber has elevated oxygen content. That oxygenated sewage is then fed into the sewage system in order to raise oxygen levels and control anaerobic activity. Sensors and valves of the system are controlled by a central controller which provides for improved functionality, energy savings, and automated function.

The equipment to be cleansed and/or degreased may be food service equipment such as ovens, ranges, fryers, grills, steam cookers, refrigerators, coolers, holding cabinets, cold food tables, work tables, beverage dispensing equipment, beer dispensers, shelving, food displays, dish washing equipment and grease traps.

Concrete Compaction System with Feedback on Compaction State

A concrete compaction system includes an unbalance exciter for concrete compaction, a compaction detection device for detecting progress of the compaction in the concrete, and a vibration device for generating a haptic feedback when a prescribed progress of the compaction has been detected by the compaction detection device. An electric motor may drive the unbalance exciter and may be powered by an electric power supply and a converter device for converting an electric current from the electric power supply to a drive current for the electric motor. The compaction detection device may comprise a measurement device for measuring the current drawn from the electric motor. The compaction detection device may also comprise an evaluation device for evaluating the current drawn measured by the measurement device, for determining therefrom the progress of the compaction in the concrete, and for detecting whether a prescribed progress of the compaction has been achieved.

Compaction System with Determination of Compaction Progress

A compaction system has a compaction device with an electric motor for generating a compaction movement, an energy device for providing electric energy for the electric motor, a measurement device for measuring the current drawn by the electric motor, and an evaluation device for evaluating the current draw as measured by the measurement device and for determining, from this determination, the compaction progress in the medium being compacted. The evaluation device is arranged at least partly in an external device, spatially separate from the energy device and/or from the compaction device.

METHOD AND MIXING PLANT FOR THE BATCH-BASED PRODUCTION OF A FLOWABLE COATING MATERIAL
20200070112 · 2020-03-05 ·

Disclosed is a method for the batch-based manufacture of a flowable coating material, in particular water-based or solvent-containing paint, from a plurality of components. The method includes feeding batch components into a process mixing container, mixing the components in the process mixing container to form a mixture having a preliminary composition, transferring at least part of the mixture having the preliminary composition from the process mixing container into a reception container, ascertaining an actual state of the mixture having the preliminary composition during transfer into the reception container, determining a deviation of the actual state of the mixture having the preliminary composition from a predefined setpoint state, ascertaining an adjustment quantity for the components required to reach the setpoint state, and topping up the adjustment quantity of the components into the preliminary mixture, while the preliminary mixture is being transferred from the process mixing container into the reception container.

SINGLE-PASS FLOW-THROUGH DRY CHEMICAL MIXING TRAILER
20200070111 · 2020-03-05 ·

A single-pass flow-through dry chemical mixing trailer for use with a well has a trailer, a refillable liquid storage tank, a main liquid storage tank valve, a liquid storage tank inlet valve, an onboard power supply, a motor with a fuel supply, a transmission, a fluid circulation loop, a self-priming bidirectional flow alternating centrifuge pump, an automated mixer assembly, and a discharge tank. The refillable liquid storage tank prevents backflow to the self-priming bidirectional flow alternating centrifuge pump while flowing the homogenized slurry to the well and the dry chemicals introduced at the automated mixer are subjected to high shear forces, incorporating the dry chemicals into the liquid with increased dispersion and reduced agglomeration.

Hair colorant dispensing system

There is disclosed a system for enabling dynamic mixture of hair colorant for individuals within a local retail establishment or salon. The system utilizes a dynamically-updatable database of hair colorant mixtures, based upon input data regarding natural hair color and current state to generate a suitable mixture. The same system and database can be used for subsequent refill orders from a remote manufacturing site. The remote manufacturing system operates in much the same way, but at a larger scale, and can be used for subsequent refill orders submitted online. Whichever system is used, the same user and colorant mixtures will be generated, and any updates or changes to the colorant mixture will appear on any system reliant upon the same database of colorant combinate instructions.
