Systems and methods for compounding a preparation using a premix solution
Computer systems and non-transitory computer readable media for determining an amount of an ingredient for a preparation for a requested therapy (e.g., an order or a prescription) includes an identifier, volume, and amounts of first and second compounds in each of a plurality of premix solutions. A predefined formulary comprising a formulary concentration of each of a plurality of additions is provided. A premix solution is selected. An amount of a first additions to be added to the premix solution may be selected. A number of bags of the premix solution, needed to satisfy a volume associated with the selected premix solution, are optionally reserved. An additive volume is determined at least by the specified first amounts of the first addition and a corresponding formulary concentration.
SYSTEMS AND METHODS FOR SMART MIXERS
An mixing device includes at least one mixing chamber, a memory, a processor coupled to the memory, and a set of instructions stored on the memory and configured to be executed by the processor. The processor is configured to determine a custom mixing recipe comprising a plurality of ingredient types and corresponding amounts for each of the plurality of ingredient types. The processor is further configured to insert the plurality of ingredient types into a first mixing chamber. A first amount of a first ingredient type and a second amount of a second ingredient type are inserted according to the custom mixing recipe. The processor is further configured to mix the plurality of ingredient types in the first mixing chamber. The processor is further configured to dispense a mixture of the plurality of ingredient types as at least one of a vapor, a fine powder, a mist, and a liquid.

Described herein is an exemplary feed mixer apparatus that includes a feed mixer apparatus that includes, a mixing chamber for receiving feed, and having a mixing element situated therein for mixing the feed, a transmission having a plurality of gears and connected with a mixing element, a drive system having a plurality of drive system components, including the transmission, a torque sensor interconnected with at least one drive system component, a control unit having a display and a plurality of user inputs, wherein the control unit is in at least indirect communication with the transmission and the torque sensor, and wherein the control unit receives a plurality of outputs from one or more of the transmission and torque sensor, and based at least in part on the plurality of outputs, provides an output command to effectuate a gear change in the transmission.

Described herein is an exemplary torque sensing assembly for a feed mixer that includes, a frame of a feed mixer, the frame having a first frame portion and a second frame portion; a transmission having at least two speeds, a housing, an input shaft, and an output shaft, a load cell secured to a second frame portion of the frame; a mounting plate having a first side portion and a second side portion situated opposite the first side, the transmission secured by a plurality of fasteners to a top surface of the mounting plate, hinge rotatably connecting the first side portion to the first frame portion, and a load contact point situated in contact with the load cell, wherein a resultant torque is impartable to the housing to provide a downward force on the load cell, via the load contact point.

BLENDER ASSEMBLY
A blending appliance includes a housing with a jar receiving area defined between an upper housing and a support base. A blender jar includes a base portion and a receptacle portion, and is configured to be laterally received within the jar receiving area of the housing. A magnetic coupling system includes an upper magnetic coupler disposed in the base portion of the blender jar and a lower magnetic coupler disposed in the support base of the housing. The upper and lower magnetic couplers are magnetically coupled to one another for driving a blade assembly disposed in the receptacle portion of the blender jar. A brake mechanism is disposed on the upper magnetic coupler and is configured to stop rotation of the upper magnetic coupler when the blender jar is removed from the jar receiving area.
METHODS AND SYSTEMS FOR COMPOSITION COMPOUNDING
Systems and methods that implement a GUI functional block that allows a user to specify a compounding formula for a composition, an ingredient validation functional block configured for receiving a code on a container holding a first ingredient, consulting a database to derive a formulation ingredient to be used in preparing the composition, determining if the first ingredient matches the formulation ingredient, a planetary mixer control functional block configured for consulting the database arrangement at least partly on a basis of the specified compounding formula to determine mixing parameters for a planetary mixer that are associated with the specified compounding formula, causing a motor assembly of the planetary mixer to apply superimposed rotation and revolution movements to a container in accordance with the mixing parameters determined from the consulting, preventing operation of the motor assembly if the determining step fails to match the first ingredient to the formulation ingredient.
METHODS AND SYSTEMS FOR INLINE MIXING OF HYDROCARBON LIQUIDS
Embodiments include systems and methods of in-line mixing of hydrocarbon liquids from a plurality of tanks into a single pipeline. According to an embodiment, a method of admixing hydrocarbon liquids from a plurality of tanks into a single pipeline to provide in-line mixing thereof includes determining a ratio of a second fluid flow to a first fluid flow based on signals received from a tank flow meter in fluid communication with the second fluid flow and a booster flow meter in fluid communication with a blended fluid flow. The blended fluid flow includes a blended flow of the first fluid flow and the second fluid flow. The method further includes comparing the determined ratio to a pre-selected set point ratio thereby to determine a modified flow of the second fluid flow to drive the ratio toward the pre-selected set point ratio. The method further includes controlling a variable speed drive connected to a pump thereby to control the second fluid flow through the pump based on the determined modified flow, the pump being in fluid communication with the second fluid flow.
METHOD AND APPARATUS FOR ADJUSTING HARDNESS OF OUTFLOW WATER FROM WATER SOFTENING DEVICE AND ELECTRONIC DEVICE
The present disclosure relates a water softening devices, and provides a method for adjusting hardness of outflow water from a water softening device, including: determining, in response to a hardness adjustment request for the outflow water, target hardness of outflow water corresponding to the hardness adjustment request for the outflow water; determining a water mixing ratio of soft water to raw water based on the target hardness of outflow water; and adjusting an opening degree of a water mixing unit of the water softening device based on the water mixing ratio, where the water mixing unit is configured to control the mixing of raw water and soft water in the water softening device.
