Computer systems and non-transitory computer readable media for determining an amount of an ingredient for a preparation for a requested therapy (e.g., an order or a prescription) includes an identifier, volume, and amounts of first and second compounds in each of a plurality of premix solutions. A predefined formulary comprising a formulary concentration of each of a plurality of additions is provided. A premix solution is selected. An amount of a first additions to be added to the premix solution may be selected. A number of bags of the premix solution, needed to satisfy a volume associated with the selected premix solution, are optionally reserved. An additive volume is determined at least by the specified first amounts of the first addition and a corresponding formulary concentration.

Blender assembly

A blending appliance includes a housing with a jar receiving area defined between an upper housing and a support base. A blender jar includes a base portion and a receptacle portion, and is configured to be laterally received within the jar receiving area of the housing. A magnetic coupling system includes an upper magnetic coupler disposed in the base portion of the blender jar and a lower magnetic coupler disposed in the support base of the housing. The upper and lower magnetic couplers are magnetically coupled to one another for driving a blade assembly disposed in the receptacle portion of the blender jar. A brake mechanism is disposed on the upper magnetic coupler and is configured to stop rotation of the upper magnetic coupler when the blender jar is removed from the jar receiving area.

An epoxy resin mixing station for use in applying epoxy mixtures to construction surfaces is described. The epoxy resin mixing station includes inlet pipes for directing epoxy resin and a hardening agent into a mixing chamber, servo motor-driven pumps for pumping the epoxy resin and the hardening agent, and a monitoring system. The monitoring system records data related to the flow of the epoxy resin and the hardening agent. If the monitoring system detects that an actual ratio of the flow rate of the epoxy resin and/or the hardening agent is outside of a tolerance of a predetermined mix ratio, the epoxy resin mixing station automatically adjusts the flow rate of the epoxy resin and/or hardening agent.

A METHOD AND A MIXER FOR COOKING A FOOD PRODUCT THAT CONTAINS STARCH

A method for cooking a food product by using a mixer, the food product comprising starch and the method comprising: providing liquid and the starch into the mixer; mixing the liquid and the starch to form a mixture; heating the mixture for gelatinizing the starch by injecting a first amount of steam into the mixer until a first set point temperature is reached; heating the mixture for gelatinizing the starch further by feeding a heating medium through a heating jacket of the mixer until a second set point temperature is reached which is higher than the first set point temperature; and during the step of heating by feeding the heating medium through the heating jacket, reducing the injecting of steam to a second amount of steam, wherein the second amount of steam is 0 to 30% of the first amount of steam.
