Control module for a motorized surgical tool, the module including a trigger sensor, a motor rotor sensor and a control circuit that are sealed from the ambient environment
A control module for a motorized powered surgical tool. The module includes a trigger sensor, a motor rotor position sensor and control circuit. The trigger sensor and motor rotor position sensor output their signals by monitoring magnetic fields associated with, respectively the trigger and the motor rotor. Based on signals from the trigger sensor and the motor rotor position sensor, the control circuit selectively applies energization signals to the windings of the motor. The module includes a shell that separates the trigger sensor, the motor rotor position sensor and the control circuit from the motor. The shell is formed from material that both shields the components within the shell from affects of the ambient environment and that allows the magnetic fields to be detected by the sensors.
METHODS AND DEVICES FOR PREPARATION OF ULTRASOUND CONTRAST AGENTS
Provided herein are methods and devices for identifying and/or distinguishing UCA formulations and specifically activating such formulations to produce UCA suitable for in vivo use.
Machine for preparing fluid products and method for preparing a formulation of fluid products by means of such a machine
A machine for preparing fluid products has a dispensing module with a tank for fluid products. The tank is connected to a pump device for dispensing measured quantities of fluid product in an operating dispensing zone of the dispensing module. The dispensing module has a transport device for transporting a container from an inlet to an outlet which are different from each other, by passing through the operating dispensing zone in which the container is selectively located. The machine further includes an inlet and an outlet which are mutually different, for introducing and removing to/from the machine a container, in which to dispense measured quantities of fluid products to obtain a finished fluid product. The inlet of the machine communicates with continuity of transport with an inlet of a dispensing module, and the outlet of the machine communicates with continuity of transport with an outlet of a dispensing module.
Methods and systems for pharmaceutical compounding
A computer-implemented method for execution by a processor of a computing device. The method comprises implementing a computerized graphical user interface (GUI) that provides a user of the computing device with an opportunity to identify a pharmaceutical compounding formula; consulting a database at least partly on a basis of the identified pharmaceutical compounding formula in order to determine mixing parameters for a planetary mixer, associated with the identified pharmaceutical compounding formula; and causing a mixer to subject a container to superimposed rotation and revolution movements in accordance with the mixing parameters determined from consulting the database.
Beverage pouring device, comprising a central air injector
A device for pouring a liquid coming from a container provided with a neck includes a housing provided with a system for securing to the container; a tube that is able to inserted into the neck, this tube defining a pouring duct; a pump including: a compressor provided with at least one air inlet, with an air outlet and with a mobile assembly that is able to bring the air inlet and the air outlet into fluidic communication, and an electric motor coupled to the mobile assembly; an injector which is connected to the air outlet of the compressor by way of an upstream end and opens into the centre of the pouring duct by way of a downstream end.
Portable preparation assembly and method to prepare liquid cosmetic/cleanser products
A portable preparation assembly to prepare liquid cosmetic/cleanser products in a personalised way has a container which is configured to contain a solvent liquid and includes a base wall, a lateral wall and an upper opening opposite to the base wall; a housing seat configured to house a solid cosmetic/cleanser and arranged at least partially inside the container; and a stirring device which is configured to stir the solvent liquid in the container so as to determine at least partial dissolution of the solid cosmetic/cleanser in the solvent liquid and mix the dissolved solid cosmetic/cleanser with the solvent liquid to obtain the liquid cosmetic/cleanser product.
Carbonation apparatus, and method for the introduction of gas to liquid
The invention relates to a carbonation apparatus (10), in particular for the introduction of carbon dioxide to liquid, having a gas outlet which is configured to be introduced into a container (7) which can be filled with liquid, a gas connector which is fluidically connected to the gas outlet via a controllable valve (4), a control device (5) which is configured to control the valve (4), comprising, furthermore: a fixture (1) with a weight determining device for determining a weight of a gas cylinder (3) which is received in the fixture (1) and is connected to the gas connector.
AUTOMATED FILL / FINISH SYSTEM
A closed system (100) for mixing fluids for use in a bioprocessing system, comprising: automated means for manipulating a tube weld (160) between a first tube fluidly connected to a first consumable (10-1) and another tube fluidly connected to a mixing consumable (10-3), said tube weld forming a closed fluid connection between the first consumable and mixing consumable; automated means for transferring a first fluid contained by the first consumable to the mixing consumable via the fluid connection; and automated means for determining a quantity of fluid transferred to or from the mixing consumable, wherein the system is further configured to manipulate a tube weld between a second tube fluidly connected to a second consumable (10-2) and said another tube fluidly connected to the mixing consumable, and transfer a second fluid therebetween to be mixed with the first fluid in the mixing consumable.
