Method and apparatus for supplying mixed gas

A method and apparatus, for supplying high-pressure mixed gas of a low-vapor-pressure first gas as an active gas and a high-vapor-pressure second gas, are arranged to reduce an amount of the first gas discarded. The mixed gas in a high-pressure state is supplied from a mixing container to a use point. Upon reduction of pressure in the mixing container to a setpoint as a result of supply to the use point, a predetermined amount of the first gas is charged into a replenishment container connected to the mixing container by a replenishment line having a replenishment valve, and which is evacuated. As the second gas is charged into the replenishment container charged with the first gas, the replenishment valve is opened such that the first gas in the replenishment container is forced out by the second gas, thereby charging the mixing container with the mixed gas in the high-pressure condition.

QUENCH DEVICE AND MIXING METHOD FOR IMPROVING MIXING EFFECT OF QUENCH GAS AND SYNTHESIS GAS

The disclosure relates to the technical field of gas mixing, and particularly relates to a quench device and a mixing method for improving mixing effect of quench gas and synthesis gas. The quench device includes a plurality of quench gas ports installed on a dry pulverized coal gasifier body and a guide wheel installed in the quench gas ports. A cross section of the dry pulverized coal gasifier body is a first imaginary circle, and the plurality of quench air ports are arranged along a circumference of the first imaginary circle. A number of the quench air ports is positive even number, and every two quench air ports form a rotary hedging group. Two quench air ports of a same rotating hedging group are arranged on a circumference of a same first imaginary circle and symmetrically arranged around a center of the first imaginary circle.

Methods for reducing corrosion or fouling in a pipeline can include identifying a location in the pipeline where inhomogeneities in the fluid produce the conditions that promote corrosion or fouling. A mixing unit can be installed based on the identified location with blades of the mixing unit positioned inside the pipeline. Homogeneity of fluid in the pipeline can be increased downstream of the mixing unit by flowing the combined first fluid and second fluid past the blades of the mixing unit.
