Bone cement applicator with three-way valve for pressure relief
Bone cement applicators and methods for application of a bone cement dough, the applicators and methods comprise a tubular cartridge with an internal space, a dispensing plunger for expelling the starting components through an opening of the cartridge opposite from the dispensing plunger, wherein the dispensing plunger is mobile in longitudinal direction in the internal space of the cartridge. The applicators and methods further comprise a hose, an application opening, a three-way valve operable from outside and arranged or arrangeable in the hose or on a side of the hose facing the cartridge, and a collecting container arranged on the three-way valve. The three-way valve is designed and arranged or arrangeable in the applicator such that it, being in a first position, provides a fluid connection between the application opening and the opening of the cartridge and closes a feed-through to the collecting container and, being in a second position, provides a fluid connection between the application opening and the collecting container and closes a passage to the opening of the cartridge.
STIRRING DEVICE FOR TREATMENT OF PHOTORESIST SETTLEMENT AND PHOTORESIST TANK
Involved is the technical field of a stirring device, specifically a stirring device for treatment of photoresist settlement and a photoresist tank. The stirring device includes a sleeve shaft, an inner telescopic shaft, a stirring component, and a rotary rod, wherein, the rotary rod is mounted on an upper end of the sleeve shaft for driving the sleeve shaft to rotate; the stirring component is arranged on a lower end of the sleeve shaft and rotates with the sleeve shaft; and the inner telescopic shaft is arranged inside of the sleeve shaft and connected to the stirring component for controlling opening and closing of the stirring component. Stirring plates approach a bottom portion of the photoresist tank, at which moment manual control is adopted to control stirring of the stirring device upward from the bottom gradually, so as to achieve the objective of homogeneous component of the photoresist. The photoresist is stirred to be more homogeneous. A lot of manpower and material resources are saved. The stirring device enables high stirring speed and high safeness.
BONE CEMENT APPLICATOR WITH RETRACTABLE MIXING ROD AND METHOD FOR PRODUCTION OF A BONE CEMENT
A bone cement applicator comprising a cartridge with an internal space. The cartridge has a head with a dispensing opening for expulsion of bone cement, a first thread, a dispensing plunger, a threaded tube having a counter thread engaging the first thread, a receptacle mobile in the threaded tube, and a mixing rod with a mixer fastened to it and arranged in the internal space of the cartridge. The mixing rod is detachably connected to the receptacle and is guided through a feedthrough in the dispensing plunger and is supported in the feedthrough so as to be axially mobile. When detached from the receptacle, the mixing rod can be pushed into the receptacle when the receptacle is propelled in the direction of the cartridge head. A method is also disclosed for production of a bone cement using the bone cement applicator.
BONE CEMENT APPLICATOR WITH RETRACTABLE MIXING ROD AND METHOD FOR PRODUCTION OF A BONE CEMENT
A bone cement applicator comprising a cartridge with an internal space. The cartridge has a head with a dispensing opening for expulsion of bone cement, a dispensing plunger, a receptacle mobile in the cartridge, and a mixing rod with a mixer fastened to it and arranged in the internal space of the cartridge. The mixing rod is detachably connected, on a side opposite from the mixer, to a front side of the receptacle that faces the cartridge head. When the mixing rod is detached from the receptacle and the receptacle is propelled in the direction of the cartridge head the mixing rod can be pushed into the receptacle. A method is also disclosed for production of a bone cement using the bone cement applicator.
APPARATUS AND A METHOD FOR THE PREPARATION OF A PLAY, CRAFT AND/OR TOY COMPOUND
There is provided an apparatus and a method for producing a play compound and the play compound itself which, in one embodiment is a compound which sufficiently fluid to be pliable and is typically cold and slimy to the touch. The apparatus and a method provide a powder and liquid to a user, which can be a non-skilled person and thereby allow the mixing of the powder and liquid together by that person to form the play compound outside of a factory environment whilst ensuring that the play compound which is formed has the desired characteristics. Most typically the user which performs the mixing can be the end user, such as a child, who will play with the compound and so the formation of the play compound forms a new part of the play experience.
Bone graft materials, devices and methods of use
A device for mixing a bone material with a liquid is provided. The device comprises a chamber having a proximal end and a distal end, and the bone material disposed within the chamber, the bone material comprising a coherent mass of milled and lyophilized demineralized bone fibers; and a plunger having at least a portion slidably disposed within the proximal end of the chamber and configured to dispense the bone material mixed with liquid from the distal end of the chamber, when the plunger is in an extended position.
Method of using manual mixer
A manual mixer serves to facilitate mixing and agitating materials for use during surgery. The manual mixer includes a mixing assembly and an actuation assembly for actuating the mixing assembly. The mixing assembly includes at least a paddle portion and a plunger portion. The plunger portion is simultaneously capable of rotational movement with the paddle portion and movement upwardly or downwardly along the paddle portion. Rotation of the paddle portion serves to facilitate mixing and agitating of the materials, and downward movement of the plunger portion serves to facilitate dispensing of the materials from the manual mixer.
Beverage stirring assembly
A beverage stirring assembly for selectively stirring a liquid in a container includes a container that may contain a liquid. A stirring unit is removably coupled to the container and the stirring unit is selectively manipulated. The stirring unit stirs the liquid when the stirring unit is manipulated. Moreover, the stirring unit is selectively removed from the container thereby facilitating an interior of the container to be washed.
MILLED BONE GRAFT MATERIALS AND METHODS OF USE
A bone material for hydration with a liquid is provided, the bone material comprising a coherent mass of milled and demineralized bone fibers, the coherent mass having no binder disposed in or on the coherent mass. In some embodiments, a bone material for hydration with a liquid is provided, the bone material comprising a coherent mass of cartridge milled, lyophilized and demineralized bone fibers, the coherent mass having no binder on the coherent mass. In some embodiments, a method of implanting a bone material is provided, the method comprising contacting the bone material with a liquid, the bone material comprising a coherent mass of cartridge milled, lyophilized and demineralized bone fibers, the coherent mass having no binder disposed in or on the coherent mass; molding the bone material into a shape to implant the bone material; and implanting the bone material at the target tissue site.
