Oil Based Organic and All Natural Pest Repellent for Humans and Pets
The present invention disclosed herein is directed to a natural pest repellent composition and the method for producing such a composition. The composition comprises a mixture herb oils, citrus oils, and wood oils safe for human and pet topical use to repel pests. The composition includes organic and natural materials and is capable of repelling pests such as insects, fleas, flies, mosquitoes, bed bugs, and ticks. The oil extracts from the herbs, citrus, and wood release a repelling agent to discourage the pests. The present invention provides a natural eco-friendly repellent that is pleasant smelling to humans. The present invention is distinctly different from prior art because it does not contain any synthetics, water, or alcohol in the composition.

The coating provides a durable, multi-level antimicrobial performance at high temperature through contact-killing, release-killing, anti-adhesion and self-cleaning. Also provided is a method of producing the antimicrobial coating material.

BOTANICAL ANTIMICROBIAL COMPOSITION
An antiseptic composition for use as a topical skin sanitizer or as a surface disinfectant includes Populus tremuloides Bark Extract and/or Ribes Nigum Fruit Extract in an amount of from about 0.1 to about 50 weight percent effective as a broad spectrum antiseptic and antimicrobial agent. The composition includes an aqueous medium and/or one or more oils. The amount of the aqueous medium is from 45 to about 95 weight percent. The amount of oils is from 0.03 to about 50 weight percent. The composition may also include up to about 1 weight percent of one or more soothing agents; up to about 5 weight percent of one or more thickeners; and up to about 38 weight percent of one or more emulsifiers. The composition does not contain alcohols, chlorinated compounds, iodine, or phenols.

A composition comprises a breathable sachet of cyclodextrin-encapsulated plant essential oils, such as thyme oil. Another composition comprises a mixture of a plant essential oil, protein, wax and glycerine used as a coating on at least one inner surface of a defined space such as a storage, shipping or delivery container or a flower sleeve. A method comprises addition of the composition to a defined space containing, or designed to contain, an agricultural product such as a fruit, vegetable or cut flower.

Provided is an insect-repellant, fungicidal, fungistatic, bactericidal, bacteriostatic, and/or spoilage retardant composite material for preservation of crops including post-harvest crops, the material including a non-woven fabric and a microencapsulated essential oil embedded in the non-woven fabric; wherein the water content of the material is less than 10%; and wherein the material exerts an insect-repellant, a fungicidal, a fungistatic, a bactericidal, a bacteriostatic and/or a spoilage retardant effect on the crop.
