NON-TOXIC ANT-REPELLING GEL
A natural non-toxic ant-repelling gel or tape is created by combining certain fatty acids with a thickening agent. The gel or tape has the surprising ability to be used safely around food, children and pets, because it is derived from an edible source. Over time, the gel composition hardens to become less tacky, thicker and more resilient and resistant to wear and tear. The gel or tape is applied to permanently block or repel ants. Since this is an oil-based gel composition, it is also long-lasting and water-proof, so it can be used outside. One particular use is to block the path of ants attempting to access a hummingbird feeder or nectar bird feeder.
BOTANICAL ANTIMICROBIAL COMPOSITION
An antiseptic composition for use as a topical skin sanitizer or as a surface disinfectant includes Populus tremuloides Bark Extract and/or Ribes Nigum Fruit Extract in an amount of from about 0.1 to about 50 weight percent effective as a broad spectrum antiseptic and antimicrobial agent. The composition includes an aqueous medium and/or one or more oils. The amount of the aqueous medium is from 45 to about 95 weight percent. The amount of oils is from 0.03 to about 50 weight percent. The composition may also include up to about 1 weight percent of one or more soothing agents; up to about 5 weight percent of one or more thickeners; and up to about 38 weight percent of one or more emulsifiers. The composition does not contain alcohols, chlorinated compounds, iodine, or phenols.

Pesticidal compositions comprising a solid insecticide and an essential oil
A liquid composition for controlling a target pest by aerosol application to a space in need thereof is disclosed. The composition comprises a solid insecticide dissolved in a solvent comprising an essential oil or oils, wherein the solid insecticide is selected from the group consisting of pyrethroid, neonicotinoid and halogenated pyrrole insecticides, and wherein the solid insecticide is present at a concentration sufficient to control the target pest. Methods for controlling a target pest by aerosol application to a space in need thereof are also disclosed, such methods comprising the step of aerosolizing the liquid composition, thereby contacting the space with an insecticidally effective amount of the liquid composition.

Method for disinfection of items and spaces
This disclosure provides a method of disinfecting a surface within an area, comprising the steps of: a) dispersing into the area a multiplicity of droplets of a first aqueous composition comprising a first iodine reactant compound that is either a peroxide compound or an iodine salt compound: b) allowing sufficient time for the first aqueous composition to distribute throughout the area, and to deposit and coalesce into a layer upon the surface: c) dispersing into the area a multiplicity of droplets of a second aqueous composition comprising a second iodine reactant compound that is the other of the first iodine reactant compound, and: d) again allowing sufficient time for the droplets of the second aqueous composition to deposit onto the coalesced layer of the first aqueous composition, thereby forming iodine and other iodine biocides in situ and disinfecting the surface.
