FLUID MIXING SYSTEMS AND METHODS OF USE
A fluid mixing system includes a flexible bag having a first end, an opposing second end, and an interior surface bounding a compartment; a retainer coupled to the second end of the flexible bag, the retainer having a retention cavity formed thereon that communicates with the compartment of the flexible bag; and an elongated member having a first end rotatably coupled to the first end of the flexible bag and an opposing second end freely disposed within the retention cavity of the retainer so that the second end of the elongated member can rotate within the retention cavity relative to the retainer.
Fluid mixing system with steady support
A fluid mixing system includes a flexible bag having a first end, an opposing second end, and an interior surface bounding a compartment. A first rotational assembly includes a first casing mounted to the first end of the flexible bag and a first hub rotatably mounted to the first casing. A second rotational assembly includes a second casing mounted to the second end of the flexible bag and a second hub rotatably mounted to the second casing. A connector has a first end coupled with the first hub and an opposing second end coupled with the second hub, the connector being flexible and having a uniform flexibility along its entire length. A first impeller is mounted to the connector.
FLUID MIXING SYSTEMS AND METHODS OF USE
The present disclosure relates to a mixing assembly for a fluid mixing system. The mixing assembly includes a first rotational assembly having a first casing and a first hub rotatably mounted to the first casing, a second rotational assembly having a second casing and a second hub rotatably mounted to the second casing, an elongated member having a first end coupled with the first hub and an opposing second end coupled with the second hub, and one or more impellers secured to the elongated member.
Mixer for a food product including a displaceable stator
A mixer for a food product includes a vessel, an stator arranged in the vessel, and a rotor to rotate the food product relative the stator. The stator is displaceable relative the rotor by a movement along a stator guide. The stator guide includes an interior cavity being enclosed by a wall extending into the vessel, and a first magnetizable material is arranged inside the cavity. The stator includes a second magnetizable material, wherein a magnetic field between the first and second magnetizable materials generates a force that moves the stator along the stator guide for displacement of the stator relative the rotor.
Fluid mixing system with drive shaft steady support
A fluid mixing system includes a flexible bag having an interior surface bounding a compartment. A retainer is coupled to the flexible bag, the retainer having a retention cavity formed thereon that communicates with the compartment of the flexible bag. An elongated tubular connector has a first end coupled to the flexible bag and an opposing second end projecting into the compartment thereof. An impeller is disposed within flexible bag and is coupled with the tubular connector. A steady support is mounted on the second end of the tubular connector and terminates at a distal nose, the distal nose being freely disposed within the retention cavity of the retainer so that the steady support can rotate within the retention cavity relative to the retainer.
TRANSLATABLE INTERLOCKING MECHANISM FOR A BLENDING SYSTEM
A blending system is shown and described herein. The blending system may include a base including a motor, a blade base assembly selectively and operably engaged with the base, where the motor drives a blade assembly of the blade base, and a blending container engageable with the blade base. The blade base may be configured to prevent driving of the blade assembly when the blending container is not engaged with the blade base assembly. The blade base may be engaged with the blending container and the blade assembly may mechanically engage with the motor.
MIXING APPARATUS AND SINGLE-USE APPARATUS FOR A MIXING APPARATUS
A mixing apparatus for mixing substances includes a single-use apparatus and a reusable apparatus. The single-use apparatus includes a flexible mixing tank configured to receive the at least two substances to be mixed, is plastic, and has a rotor arranged in the mixing tank. The rotor includes an impeller configured to mix the at least two substances, the impeller being magnetically contactlessly drivable and free of coils and permanent magnets. The reusable apparatus includes a support tank configured to receive the mixing tank and a stator configured to magnetically contactlessly drive the rotor about an axis of rotation in an operating state. The stator includes at least one permanent magnet configured to generate a permanent magnet flux and at least one winding configured to generate an electromagnetic flux, the permanent magnet flux and the electromagnetic flux together being capable of driving the rotor.
