Gaseous fuel mixer assembly for engine and engine system operating method
A gaseous fuel mixer assembly for an engine includes a mixer housing forming gas delivery openings, and positioned to extend across a flow path formed by an intake conduit for the engine. A spool valve is within a central bore in the mixer housing and includes gas distribution openings selectively connectable to the gas delivery openings by moving the spool valve within the mixer housing using a piezoelectric actuator coupled with the spool valve by way of a pivot arm. Sealing lands of the spool valve are in an alternating arrangement with the gas distribution openings, such that at the closed position the sealing lands block the gas distribution openings from the gas delivery openings, and at the open position the respective openings are fluidly connected.
DYNAMIC MIXER DISPENSE VALVEFOR TWO-COMPONENT HIGH-VISCOSITY HIGH RATIO COMPOUNDS HAVING QUICK CHANGE CARTRIDGE
A dynamic mixer dispense valve and metering apparatus suitable for use in mixing and applying high viscosity, disparate viscosity, high ratio, and/or relatively immiscible two part compounds that exhibit short cure times includes a housing supporting a pair of valve assemblies each coupled to respective sources of base and accelerator components. A pair of pneumatic valve actuators control the operation of the valve assemblies to control the flow of components into a mixing chamber. Within the mixing chamber a mixer impeller is rotatably supported and coupled to a source of rotational power. An additional pneumatic valve actuator combination operates a further flow control to prevent undesired material loss following a shot cycle.Note
Method and apparatus for injecting a gas into a beverage
Disclosed herein are techniques and methods for dispersing a volume of gas in a beverage contained in an unpressurized container.
HIGH CAPACITY SELF-CLEANING BRINE MAKER
A system for making a brine solution is provided comprising: a single conveyor; and a hopper assembly configured to receive a salt and a solvent, the hopper assembly comprising a lower hopper having a shape in which sides of the lower hopper direct any solid contents of the lower hopper, under a force of gravity, towards an entry point of the single conveyor, the hopper assembly further comprising a solvent inlet arranged to spray the salt, wherein the solvent inlet is configured to create a brine solution from a spray of the solvent combined with the salt in the hopper assembly, and wherein the single conveyor is configured to remove debris from the hopper assembly at the entry point of the single conveyor. A novel sediment tank is also provided.
REAL TIME BLENDING SYSTEM VIA A SINGLE PUMP
Systems and methods for blending fluids are provided. A blended fluid may be obtained by mixing a first fluid from a first fluid source with a second fluid from a second fluid source. The blended fluid may be pumped by a pump arranged downstream of a point at which the first and second fluids are mixed, wherein no other pumps are upstream of the pump. First and second flow control valves that control the flow rate of the first and second fluids, respectively, are adjusted so as to reach a target flow rate of the blended fluid, the blended fluid having a target blend of the first fluid and the second fluid.
Thermal valve
A method and apparatus for obtaining a solution from a solid product in contact with a liquid is provided. A solid product is housed within a dispenser. A liquid is introduced into contact with the solid product. The solution formed between the solid product and the liquid is collected, and a makeup liquid can be added thereto to further dilute or control the concentration of the formed solution. The amount of makeup liquid added to the solution can be controlled based on the temperature of the liquid to provide an automatic, continuously variable amount of liquid added to the solution. In addition, a method of providing a pressure independent control of the makeup liquid is also provided.
BUFFER MANAGEMENT SYSTEM WITH MANIFOLD FOR BIOPROCESSING SYSTEM
A buffer management system includes at least one workstation configured to support a supply of concentrated buffer solution and an inline dilution skid having a manifold. The manifold is in fluid communication with the supply of concentrated buffer solution and is adapted to be placed in fluid communication with a source of water for injection (WFI). The manifold includes a buffer inlet line in selective fluid communication with the supply of concentrated buffer solution, a WFI inlet line in selective fluid communication with the source of WFI, and a discharge line in fluid communication with both the buffer inlet line and the WFI inlet line. The inline dilution skid is configured to variably mix the supply of concentrated buffer solution and the source of WFI to obtain a range of diluted buffer solutions.
LIQUID SUPPLY APPARATUS
Provided is a liquid supply apparatus which is capable of directly taking in a liquid from a flow channel and appropriately mixing a gas into the liquid when generating-nanobubbles in the liquid using an ultrafine bubble generating apparatus. The liquid supply apparatus comprises a flow channel for a liquid supplied from a liquid supply source and an ultrafine bubble generating apparatus for generating nanobubbles in the liquid. The ultrafine bubble generating apparatus is provided with: a liquid ejector for ejecting the liquid taken in from the flow channel; a gas mixer for pressurizing and mixing a gas into the liquid ejected from the liquid ejector; and a nanobubble-generating nozzle for generating nanobubbles in the liquid by passing the liquid with intermixed gas therethrough. The pressure of the liquid in the flow channel flowing into the liquid ejector from the upstream-side of the liquid ejector is a positive pressure and, between the liquid ejector and the-nanobubble-generating nozzle, the gas mixer pressurizes and mixes the gas into the liquid, which is flowing in a pressurized state toward the nanobubble-generating nozzle.
DOSING METHOD AND ASSOCIATED FACILITY
A method for dosing an injection product into a base product, in particular, for the production of a finishing and/or protective paint product, including the following steps: (a) supply of a mixing device, (b) establishment of a continuous flow of base product, (c) injection of the injection product into the continuous flow for a given time, (d) measurement of the amount of injection product injected, (e) calculation of a desired amount of base product based on the amount of injection product injected, steps (c), (d) and (e) being repeated when the amount of base product having passed since the start of step (c) is equal to the amount of base product desired, the injection product being injected into the base product only during step (c).
GAS-LIQUID MIXING CONTROL SYSTEM AND CONTROL METHOD FOR GAS-LIQUID MIXING
A gas-liquid mixing control system includes a liquid supply unit, a liquid pressure regulating valve, a gas supply unit, a gas pressure regulating valve, a mixing tank, an output pipe, and a non-electric control flow regulator. The mixing tank communicates with said regulating valves; liquid and gas are mixed in the mixing tank to form mixed fluid. The first end and second end of output pipe communicate with the mixing tank and the machine respectively, making mixed fluid output from mixing tank to machine through the output pipe.
