20170326507 · 2017-11-16 ·

The present invention relates to a reaction device with air-lift type internal circulation which includes: a vertical cylindrical volume (1), more than one draft tube vertical element (2) positioned within the cylindrical volume (1) in such a manner as to form an gap with the walls of said volume, more than one gas distributor (3), each of which is positioned on the bottom of said device; wherein: each vertical internal element (2) has an internal diameter which increases along the vertical axis of said element, and the ratio between the total height of the reaction device and the internal diameter of the reaction device is less than 1.

Quench-box assembly for hydroprocessing reactors

The invention relates to Quench box assembly comprising quench pipe and quench box, to mix quench gas and vapor-liquid effluent from previous catalyst bed to achieve equilibrium temperature before entering the next bed. The quench pipe is in the form of ring having aperture while quench box consists of swirling section and a mixing chamber. The swirling section consists of inclined baffles to provide swirling action to incoming stream and the turbulence created by the swirling action increases the heat transfer rate thus requiring the smaller reactor volume to attain equilibrium temperature. The perforated plate being open from all the sides allowing the liquid to flow uniformly from all directions thus providing uniform distribution on the distributor tray. Hence, eliminates the requirement of rough liquid distributor before the distribution tray.

VORTEX APPARATUS HAVING SLOPED PLATFORM
20170326513 · 2017-11-16 ·

An apparatus includes a motor configured to move a platform on a predetermined orbit. The platform is connected to the motor, and the platform is configured to receive one or more vessels. Material included in each of the one or more vessels is mixed when the platform is moved on the predetermined orbit. The platform is sloped down, with respect to a horizontal axis, in a direction from any point along the predetermined orbit toward the center of the orbit.

MIXING BIOLOGICAL COMPONENTS WITHOUT FROTHING
20220347637 · 2022-11-03 · ·

A device for the mixing fluid media. The device is a bladeless mixer. The device comprises a hollow body with at least a single inlet opening in its bottom and at least a single outflow region in its side. The device is rotated at a speed at which the media due to centrifugal forces enters the device's hollow cavity via the inflow opening or unit. The media is discharged from the cavity through one or more outlet units or openings in the sides or in the top of the device. During mixing the media does not rise above the level of the undisturbed media.

A dynamic mixer comprises a mixing chamber having a plurality of inlets and an outlet as well as a mixing element rotatably arranged in the mixing chamber. The mixing takes place by a to and fro movement of the mixing element.

Mixing and drying conveyor

A conveyor having a conveyance structure, mixing components, belt, and gas manifold. The gas manifold disposed within or on an exterior portion of the structure. The gas manifold having one or more manifold outlet ports to dry, condition, or treat a metered stream of seed within the conveyor. The manifold may be operably connected to a recirculating air system providing the vacuum source and pressurized air source of atmospheric or conditioned air. A filter and vacuum port may extract debris or humidity from the metered stream of seed within the conveyor. A plurality of mixing baffles may be longitudinally spaced apart through the conveyor in a laterally alternating manner to mix the metered stream of seed. The conveyor may be used to transfer, mix, dry, condition and treat the metered stream of seed between multiple stages of treatment.

HYDROFOIL IMPELLER

A hydrofoil impeller wherein the tip edge is straight and has a right angle with a radius extending from the central axis to the tip edge. In the central hub and in each of the blades the number of holes in each group of first and second holes is at least five. The pattern in which the holes are arranged in each of the respective groups of holes is elliptical having a center and a major axis which is substantially parallel to the radius and placed at a distance therefrom. The leading edge is, in the direction to rotation, behind an imaginary radial line intersecting the central axis of the shaft and the center of the ellipse, said leading edge being at an angle of 58°±2° in relation to the radial line. The area of the blade is divided into four planar portions by three straight bends.

Mixing blade having negatively inclined front mixing plate

A mixing blade for a mixer for concrete, mortar, powders, dry or semi-dry granulates, mixtures with a cement base or similar or comparable mixtures or mixes comprises a shank which develops along a longitudinal axis and a mixing wall connected inclined to one end of said shank, transverse to the longitudinal axis. The mixing wall comprises, on one side of the longitudinal axis, a first front mixing plate, and on an opposite side, a second front mixing plate angled backward toward the longitudinal axis with respect to the first front mixing plate, by an angle of inclination of the plate.
