FROZEN FOOD PRODUCT SYSTEMS AND METHODS
A frozen food appliance and related method of making a frozen food product. A rotational drive assembly configured in an axial alignment using a direct drive to produce rotational movement of a blade element to contact a frozen food precursor in a frozen food container associated with the frozen food appliance where the rotational drive assembly omits rotational speed modifying gears and transmissions positioned between a drive motor and the blade element. In another aspect, a rotational drive assembly may be kept in axial alignment with a frozen food container via a multi portioned container mount having a float connector.
SYSTEM AND METHOD FOR GENERATING BUBBLES IN A VESSEL
The systems and methods disclosed herein provide for the efficient generation of fine bubbles. In particular, systems and methods for use in bioreactors are disclosed herein providing a superior means to produce useful fermentation products by the biological fermentation of fine bubble waste substrates injected into a liquid broth containing a microorganism culture.
Manufacturing of bupivacaine multivesicular liposomes
Embodiments of the present application relate to batches of bupivacaine multivesicular liposomes (MVLs) prepared by a commercial manufacturing process using independently operating dual tangential flow filtration modules.

METERING SYSTEM
A metering system for applying a bead of a multi-component composite material to a component. The metering system comprises a mixing head including a mixing chamber. The metering system includes one supply line for each component of a multi-component composite material, leading from a source of each component to the mixing chamber. The mixing chamber is configured to mix the components of the multi-component composite material in the mixing chamber and has an outlet opening through which the mixed multi-component composite material exits the mixing head. The metering system includes a metering pump to convey a discharge of the multi-component composite material through the outlet opening. The metering system includes a control unit to output, to the metering pump, a control signal comprising control information andvadjust a metering output of the multi-component composite material through the outlet opening of the mixing head based on the control signal.
Mixing apparatus and system
Provided is a mixing apparatus. The mixing apparatus comprises a housing defining a primary chamber, an inlet for receiving material into the mixing apparatus, as well as an outlet for discharging material from the mixing apparatus. The housing provides within the primary chamber a plurality of rotating shafts, each rotating shaft having a plurality of flailing fixtures associated therewith.
METHOD AND CRYSTALLIZING TANK AND ARRANGEMENT THEREOF FOR CRYSTALLIZING CALCIUM NITRATE FROM THE NITRO-PHOSPHATE PROCESS
A method for crystallizing calcium nitrate from an aqueous calcium nitrate composition including from 6 to 12 weight % nitric acid, from 11 to 17 weight % phosphoric acid, and from 36 to 49 weight % dissolved calcium nitrate, which aqueous composition is optionally directly obtainable from digesting phosphate rock in nitric acid. The method includes filling at least one vertical crystallizing tank through an inlet with the aqueous calcium nitrate composition. The crystallizing tank includes a vertical cylindrical section, a first inlet, a first outlet, a second inlet, three concentric banks of cooling coils, an agitator, and a temperature measurement device. The method includes circulating through the banks of cooling coils a cooling fluid, having an initial temperature ranging from −40° C. to −5° C., and rotating the agitator such that a minimum average heat transfer of 400 W/m.sup.2.Math.K is achieved on the cooling coil the most distant from the agitator.
FOAM MIXING SYSTEM
A mixing system mixes liquid adhesive and gas to create a solution. The mixing system it a manifold defining an adhesive input that receives the liquid adhesive, a gas input that receives the gas, a mixing chamber in fluid communication with the adhesive and gas inputs, an output that outputs the solution, and an output passage extending from the mixing chamber to the output. The mixing system also includes a rotor that rotates within the mixing chamber about a longitudinal axis so as to mix the solution, a motor that rotates the rotor, and a static mixer positioned within the output passage that statically mixes the solution flowing through the output passage.
