The invention discloses environment-controlling fibers, method manufacturing the same and fabrics using the same, which adopts polyolefin material, optoelectronic material, thermoelectric material, piezoelectric material and catalyst material, to make fibers and fabric by melting, mixing, drawing and weaving. The fabrics are used in all kinds of environmental control products or for organic agriculture. A method of increasing antimicrobial peptide concentration on the skin is provided. The method includes cleaning skin with at least one of a cleanser and a sanitizer and applying a topical composition to the skin. The topical composition is comprised of one or more polypeptides and natural extracts that increase the concentration of antimicrobial peptides.

Exemplary insect repellent, attractant, knockdown and kill compositions may comprise vanillin and two or more active ingredients selected from: geraniol, rosemary oil, winter green oil, methyl salicylate, linalool, tetrahydrolinalool, cedar leaf oil, thyme oil white, thyme oil red, thymol, mint oil, peppermint oil, linseed oil, sunflower oil, piperonal, piperonyl alcohol, benzyl alcohol, lime oil, d-limonene, eucalyptus oil citridora, eucalyptus oil, cinnamon oil, cinnamic alcohol, cinnamyl alcohol, geranium oil, lavender oil, tetrahydrolinalool, phenethyl propionate, clove oil, safflower oil, eugenol, 1,8-cineol, α-terpineol, triethyl citrate, isopropyl myristate, white mineral oil, lemon grass oil, lilac flower oil, black seed cumin oil, geranyl acetate, citric acid, citral diethyl acetal, ascorbic acid, canola oil, corn oil, soybean oil, sandalwood oil, isopropyl alcohol (IPA), pheneythyl alcohol, white mineral oil. The composition may further comprise castor oil based emulsifier, xanthum gum, potassium sorbate, lecithin, sodium lauryl sulfate and/or a diluent, for example.

INSECT REPELLENT PATCHES
The present disclosure generally relates to a wearable insect repellent patch and sheets of such patches. Each patch consists of a patch substrate and an adhesive layer on the patch substrate, wherein the adhesive layer is configured to allow the wearable patch to be removably attached to a wearer or an object associated with the wearer or another human, wherein the patch substrate comprises an active agent. The active agent is an insect repellent that is configured to release an effective amount of the insect repellent for repelling insects or masking the wearer or the object associated with the wearer or another human from insect detection. The insect repellent consists of one or more essential oils. The present disclosure also relates to kits and packages comprising insect repellent patches.
