BIOPESTICIDE COMPOSITIONS COMPRISING PLANT EXTRACTS AND PHYTOSANITARY USE THEREOF

A biopesticide composition contains a synergistic bioactive core consisting of essential oil, oleoresin, aqueous, alcoholic or hydroalcoholic extract of root or rhizomes of Zingiber officinale Roscoe and cinnamaldehyde or source of cinnamaldehyde. The composition may contain at least one secondary component and/or inert substances. A method is used for obtaining the biopesticide composition. The biopesticide composition is used in agriculture, parks and sports facilities against pests belonging to the whitefly group.

CEREAL BASED ADJUVANT FOR AGROCHEMICAL PERFORMANCE
20220348516 · 2022-11-03 · ·

The present invention is an adjuvant for use as an isolate suspension that is used to enhance various agrochemicals such as fertilizers, plant growth formulae, fungicides, insecticides, and herbicides. The adjuvant is derived from a cereal or legume and enhances active ingredients in the agrochemical by creating more absorption surface area per droplet, and increases optimum chemical penetration into the leaf stoma due to the complex protein relationship upon deposition.

REPELLANT FORMULATION AND METHOD

A formulation for repelling insects and arthropods comprises about 0.5% by weight to about 4.0% by weight of an active ingredient and an emulsifier. The active ingredient includes a mixture of one or more natural essential oils. A method for making the repellant formulation comprises forming an oil-in-water emulsion by mixing one or more of the natural essential oils into an aqueous solution including an emulsifier, homogenizing the oil-in-water emulsion, and adding a buffer to the emulsion for maintaining a pH of the emulsion at above about 7.5. The repellant formulation is used by applying an effective amount of the repellant formulation onto the skin or fur of a mammal, clothing or other surface.
