Magnetic bait-release device
A magnetic bait-release device is an apparatus that houses live bait and remotely releases the live bait with a connected fishing line of a fishing pole. The apparatus includes a tubular housing, a fixed lid, a release lid, and a latch mechanism. The tubular housing contains the live bait with the fixed lid and the release lid. The release lid releases the live bait upon the engagement of the latch mechanism with the connected fishing line of the fishing pole. The latch mechanism includes a trigger bar, a slot, a handle, an eyelet, a compression spring, a fixed magnet, and a free magnet. The fixed magnet is positioned within the tubular housing with the trigger bar. The free magnet is mounted within the release lid. The compression spring forcibly retracted the trigger bar with a pull of the connected fishing line which is connected with the eyelet.

Device for Alternative Fishing Hook Arrangement
A device for rigging a fishing lure having a hollow cylindrical main body with a first tapered end and a second non-tapered end, such that the tapered end is sized to fit snugly on an artificial fishing worm lure. The device has a number of holes distributed around the central portion of the main body to enable the passage of a fishing hook through the lure and device combination. The device may be constructed of plastic, metal, rubber, or a combination of materials. The device may be weighted or have additional embellishments to enhance an angler's fishing success.

Artificial bait with slip protection
Methods, systems, and devices for luring fish with an artificial bait are described. An artificial bait may include a top portion, a bottom portion, and a washer to prevent a knotted line from slipping through. In one embodiment, an artificial bait may include a top portion in the form of a tapered cylinder, a bottom portion comprising a plurality of appendages, and a washer. Some examples of the artificial bait may also include one or more fins attached to the top portion. The washer may prevent a fishing line from slipping through the artificial bait when it is being pulled through the water.
EXPANDABLE BAIT KEEPER FOR SOFT FISHING LURES
A fishing tackle bait keeper for a fishing hook includes an anchor and an extension member. The anchor has a sleeve with first and second ends, and plural ribs coupled to the first end. The ribs project in a diverging arrangement from the first end of the sleeve in a direction opposite of the sleeve first end. The ribs each have a free end. The ribs move from a deployed position to a retracted position, wherein when the ribs are in the retracted position, the ribs are oriented with the sleeve to allow insertion of the bait keeper into a bait, and wherein when the ribs are in the deployed position, the ribs extend out from the sleeve to resist being removed from the bait, the ribs are normally in the deployed position. The extension member is coupled to the sleeve and having an attachment portion for coupling with the hook.
