Process for obtaining a catalyst composite
A catalyst composite may include a molecular sieve having pores of 10- or more-membered rings and a metal silicate different from the molecular sieve. The metal silicate may include at least one alkaline earth metal and one or more of the following metals: Ga, Al, Ce, In, Cs, Sc, Sn, Li, Zn, Co, Mo, Mn, Ni, Fe, Cu, Cr, Ti and V. The catalyst composite may include at least 0.1 wt % of silicate. The catalyst composite may be used in an XTO reactor or for catalytic cracking.
Modified zeolite second stage hydrocracking catalyst and use of thereof for hydrocarbon conversion
A hydrocracking catalyst, containing a USY zeolite modified by treatment with an organic acid to remove aluminum, an alumina binder, two or more metals selected from metals of Groups VIB and VIII, and cerium in the range of 0.1 to 5.0 wt %. A method of making the hydrocracking catalyst, whereby a USY zeolite is treated with an organic acid to remove aluminum from the zeolite structure and subsequently impregnating with a rare earth metal of the Lanthanide series to form a modified USY zeolite. The modified USY zeolite is mixed with alumina comprising a peptizing agent and impregnated with two or more metals selected from metals of Groups VIB and VIII.
Hydrocracking catalyst, its method of making, and method of use
A hydrocracking catalyst comprises an active cracking support. The active cracking support comprises a post-modified zeolite framework having zirconium atoms and titanium atoms substituting for aluminum atoms; wherein: a portion of the zirconium atom are substituted in the post-modified zeolite via 4-coordination; a portion of the zirconium atom are grafted to the post-modified zeolite via 5-coordination; and the titanium atoms are substituted in the post-modified zeolite framework via 4-coordination.
