FCC CATALYST WITH ENHANCED MESOPOROSITY, ITS PREPARATION AND USE
Process for the preparation of a catalyst by adding, clay, boehmite, a first silica to form a slurry, digesting the slurry with a monoprotic acid to a pH of less than 4, adding one or more zeolites, adding a rare earth component to the slurry and mixing, adjusting the slurry pH to below 4 with monoprotic acid, adding a second silica anywhere in the preceding steps, destabilizing the slurry by raising the pH, shaping and collecting the resulting catalyst, wherein the resulting catalyst has enhanced mesoporosity.
AN ADDITIVE AND A CATALYST COMPOSITION COMPRISING THE ADDITIVE FOR FCC PROCESS
The present disclosure relates to an additive and a catalyst composition for a catalytic cracking process of vacuum gas oil for preparing cracked run naphtha having reduced liquid olefin content, and increased propylene and butylene yields in the LPG fraction. The process makes use of a catalyst composition which is a mixture of an FCC equilibrated catalyst and an additive comprising a zeolite, phosphorus and a combination of metal promoters. The process is successful in achieving high propylene and butylene yields in the LPG fraction along with a lower liquid olefin content and increased aromatic content with increase in RON unit in the resultant cracked run naphtha, as compared to that achieved using an FCC equilibrated catalyst alone.
Functional structural body and method for making functional structural body
To provide a functional structural body that can realize a long life time by suppressing the decline in function of the functional substance and that can attempt to save resources without requiring a complicated replacement operation, and to provide a method for making the functional structural body. The functional structural body (1) includes a skeletal body (10) of a porous structure composed of a zeolite-type compound, and at least one functional substance (20) present in the skeletal body (10), the skeletal body (10) has channels (11) connecting with each other, and the functional substance is present at least in the channels (11) of the skeletal body (10).
Bifunctional Additive for More Low-Carbon Olefins and Less Slurry and Its Preparation Method and Application Thereof
The invention discloses a bifunctional additive for increasing low-carbon olefins and reducing slurry in cracking product, wherein the dry-basis components of said additive is as follows: 40?55 wt % of phosphorus-containing MFI zeolite, 0?10 wt % of large pore type Y and Beta zeolites, 3?20 wt % of inorganic binder, 8?22 wt % of inorganic matrix composed of alumina and amorphous silica-alumina and 15?40 wt % of clay. The bifunctional additive is mainly used to facilitate production rate of cracked LPG and increase concentration of propylene in LPG and octane number of produced the gasoline, and at the same time reduce the yield of slurry in the cracking products. The invention also discloses its preparation method and application of said additive.
FCC CATALYST COMPOSITIONS CONTAINING BORON OXIDE
Described are fluid catalytic cracking (FCC) compositions, methods of manufacture and use. FCC catalyst compositions comprise particles containing a non-zeolitic component and one or more boron oxide components. In embodiments, the FCC catalyst composition contains a zeolite component and optionally a rare earth component and a transition alumina. FCC catalytic compositions may comprise a first particle type containing one or more boron oxide components and a first matrix component mixed with a second particle type containing a second matrix component, and a zeolite. The FCC catalyst compositions can be used to crack hydrocarbon feeds, particularly resid feeds containing high V and Ni, resulting in lower hydrogen and coke yields.
Metal modified Y zeolite, its preparation and use
The present invention relates to a metal modified Y zeolite, its preparation and use. Said zeolite contains 1-15 wt % of IVB group metal as oxide and is characterized in that the ratio of the zeolite surface's IVB group metal content to the zeolite interior's IVB group metal content is not higher than 0.2; and/or the ratio of the distorted tetrahedral-coordinated framework aluminum to the tetrahedral-coordinated framework aluminum in the zeolite lattice structure is (0.1-0.8):1.
Catalytic composition with added copper trapping component for NOx abatement
The present disclosure provides catalyst compositions for NO.sub.x conversion and wall-flow filter substrates comprising such catalyst compositions. Certain catalyst compositions include a zeolite with sufficient Cu exchanged into cation sites thereof to give a Cu/Al ratio of 0.1 to 0.5 and a CuO loading of 1 to 15 wt. %; and a copper trapping component (e.g., alumina) including a plurality of particles having a D.sub.90 particle size of about 0.5 to 20 microns in a concentration of about 1 to 20 wt. %. The zeolite and copper trapping component can be in the same washcoat layer or can be in different washcoat layers (such that the copper trapping component serves as a pre-coating on the wall-flow filter substrate).
